hey now robb. i was never against 1 dollar tourneys. i was “against” 1 dollar tourneys that doesnt pay out til 4-5 months later. big difference =) dollar tourneys are nothing new. we’ve done em in the past.

A decent number of people are playing, but no real gatherings have been organized yet.

We did one last week at Ricky’s but the only ones ended up playing MK were me Ricky and Robert. Most people were fixed on Marvel. We’re doing one this Wednesday where Dan is supposed to show up apparently. I played some games w/ him last night and he has a great Cyrax/Noob/Reptile.

Ricky, myself and hopefully Dan will be on tonight for some MK around 8PM. A little online gathering of sorts since we can’t all travel so frequently every week. Matches ran smooth so I think it was really viable.

I have the PS3 version, but even if I had the 360 version, I wouldn’t be able to get any decent practice online. I can’t do ANY dash cancel combos in the terrible net code. Maybe after it’s patched I’ll join in on some online gatherings, but not until then.

I did Kung Lao’s Xray, dash 1, dash, 2,4,1+3, jf 2 just fine. It was actually easier online lmao. The connections really are great if you play local people (and wired of course)

I’m playing mk as well, rocking kung lao,cyber sub and nightwolf now, wth a side of sindel. I’ve been working on marvel more, which is crazy considering I’ve been waiting for mk, and now that its here I’m still stuck on marvel.
