Also I may end things early (midnight) if I feel tired, cause Ive been working 11-12 hours shifts and I gotta wake up at 6 :(…
I used to have a SRK account on the old forums, but I rarely used it, so no surprise that I had to register again.
I’m dropping by to say, “Hello.” I live in Tucson, and I’ve been trying to keep up with the scene, but there’s just not much going in this little town. I’ve dropped by AIAB a couple of times, but they were mysteriously closed. There’s a new website up, so hopefully those hours are accurate and I can actually step foot inside the building within the next few weeks! Leading up to EVO, I tried to catch the training sessions, but my wife tore a ligament in her knee and I had to be the standby chauffeur for the last 4 months.
I’m free now, and I’m dying to get away from Lags-box Live. Dropping links like a boss is fail. I play on 360 with my TE-S, and my gamertag is Morvidus. I seem to play Guy more than anyone, but I also favor Makoto, Abel, and Adon. I actually think I hit the random icon more than anything…
On a separate note, does anyone know where I can get the USB adapter that goes on the end of the fightstick/fightpad in Tucson? My son took off with the one from my Fightpad and the one from my SE stick, so now I have to post armed guards around my TE…
Thanks a ton. Online is better than going to a south side Radio Shack!

I have a ton a break away cables at AIAB.
We are not your traditional arcade. We are completely volunteer run for the fighting game community. We are always open Fridays and Saturday nights from 8pm-2am. Friday nights are usually our biggest nights for fighting games. We started doing a quarter nights on Wednesdays from 8pm until whoever is there wants to close. Usually around midnight or 1am.
Starting next week we will move away from our summer hours and will be open from 10am-4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then the regular Wed, Friday and Saturday nights listed above.
The day time hours are there for the classic arcade stuff. No one is ever there during the day playing fighting games. Hope to see you soon.
That was a good sesh. Good players playing different chars, hopefully I have my new monitor soon so I can add to the setups.
Great meeting you. You and your buddy are no joke, good games!
Armando, I might need to start requesting that the dogs be put outside or something when I head over. Sorry to be an ass, but my allergies are fucking killing me right now.
Sorry I wasn’t able to head over tonight, but is Gameworks on for tomorrow?
Nice meeting you guys I need to practice more and stick to fewer characters. Thanks for the ride home Jon I owe you big time.
Yeah sorry about last night I had a massive migraine and then I woke up sick so be glad I didn’t come to Armando’s and give everybody my morning AIDS.
Ewww…
I think I just had morning sickness. According to WebMD I might be pregnant.
I’m originally from Tucson but now live in San Tan Valley (Queen Creek). There is a pretty damn fine group in Tucson, the AIAB guys play frequently and have awesome tournys. Anyway, I mostly play online now because I have a 3 month old baby-monkey, but I am always looking for people to play with.

Yo, nice to meet you. Hope to see you at AIAB sometime soon, Wed/Fri/Sat nights (8pm onward) are the nights for fighting games, like Ed said.
