Go to AxisGaming.org to pre-register for all 3 games today and get an ADDITIONAL $5 off on your order! That brings down playing all 3 games to only $35!!!
the date is only on Tuesday the 10 th? darn I have class until 6pm, it will have been fun to fun other good player anyway maybe next time. ( saaaaaad )
they’re probably just thrown off by the fact that you announced it so far ahead of time, which is a good thing. once i figure out if i can make it for sure i’ll pre-register.
ok, hmmmm, is anybody living close to berkeley, el cerrito, emmeryville, richmond, albany or oakland and going to the tourney axis of gaming, i have a transportation issue, if you are worry that i might be a potential contender for the prize money, dont worry i suck, i live in el cerrito close to berkeley and richmond
If anyone wants to organize a carpool to the event I would be more than happy to post it on this thread’s start and on AxisGaming.org. Just give me whatever info you can like…
-How many people you can take,
-Where to meet
-How much for gas (if you want people to pitch in)
-etc
I cannot stress this enough, if we have a good turnout we will have more events and tournaments so please do your best to make it to this one!
And remember venue entrance and casual playing are both 100% free, so bring your friends and just hang out, what we deem as a “successful” event that will lead into more tournaments is one where a good number of people show up and have fun playing, regardless of if they actually enter the tournament or not.
When we have another tournament we will have more and different games and the community will continue to grow! So if “your game” isn’t in this one, come hang out and have a good time playing casuals to help make it a success and your game could very well be in the next one!
It was never $10, it has always been $15 and I feel that with me putting up Over $1000 per game (including the arcade stick) in guaranteed prizes, $15 is more than fair, and if you pre register for all 3 games its only $35, which drops the price to $11.66 per game (with the pre-registration discount)
We have decided that the “4th game to be announced” will not take place at this tournament, due mainly because of time and logistical restraints. We also came to this decision because of the fact that we feel that it will be much more enjoyable to play in a tournament with a slightly more laxed and comfortable time table, than one where everyone is scrambling to make time.
So for the tournament on May 10th 2008, the main event games will include:
-Marvel vs Capcom 2
-Capcom vs SNK 2
-Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike
