Awesome 7-11 Anodized Aluminum Shaft Covers Tutorial

I would be wiling to pay for someone that has the ability to cut and grind down three of these to fit an LS-32, if it doesn’t make it brittle enough to just break off while playing. Hit me up, I’m needing three (Green, Blue, and Pink/Purple: whichever would look best with a pink meshball).

I’d possibly be interested in one or two of these if they fit the LS-32. Leave me a pm!

Shit Qw33ts i’ll buy a couple off you haha

In talks with a local 7-11 owner about purchasing the whole box from him at a discounted rate.

I was under the impression that one of the purposes of a shaft cover was to prevent static electricity from being transfered from the player’s hand to the shaft; if that’s the case, then wouldn’t a metal shaft cover be a problem?

Hmm, I’ve been playing without a shaft cover and an aluminum bat top for a couple weeks - no noticeable shocks.

Be careful with applying too much pressure with the tubing cutters and you can get burs on the inside of the straw that make it hard to insert it onto the shaft.

Also for those of you in Maryland (or those who are willing to drive long distances for metal straws) this 7-11 had a lot of them left AND was having trouble ringing them up which probably means they aren’t selling well:

Did they have all the colors?

As of Saturday I believe they did have every color. Six colors, right?

What did you use to grind out the inside of the straw?

I don’t know if anyone has shown what this looks like with Toggleme’s aluminum bat tops, but here’s a picture of mine. I think it looks pretty awesome

Hey can someone measure there shaftcover I don’t have one for reference

35mm tall.

Nice stick Sven =)

Where are you finding a dremel tool for less than 10? Every where I’ve looked the cheapest is around 30.
I had one that was OLD and as I was making my second cut (First cut was too short) It died on me.

IMO Tubing Cutters (~$4-7) are going to work better for something small scale like this.

Checked a couple 7-elevens here in Toronto (spadina/college and yonge/college) with no luck. Probably don’t have these in Canada. Anyone from the GTA found any? Would love just 1 intact red one. lol
Thanks.

Just got back from the 7-11 by me and they had a bunch of all colors… I may try a red one

Bring an extra one to EVO and poison dart your opponent before the match.

heres one we put on a customer’s stick, we’re gonna try and see if can scrub off the words and match a paint to it.
