The easiest way is to just jump. If your in close jump foward if your at range just jump back abels u2 has really crappy range. The mistake i see most people make is panicking and jumping in the wrong direction for the current situation. Its pretty hard to time because if your throwing out any kind of move sometimes EX moves also you get tagged.
Strange thing is i get tagged by ryu’s u2 so much and i get out of this one fairly easy and ryu’s is much easier to avoid.
With Rog, you can do his overhead, but the overhead needs to be almost hitting him BEFORE the ultra flash.
You can also do neutral jump fierce, and use the wiggle property to change the timing/placement of your landing. I’ve had this done on me, it’s no fun.
Or yeah, simply jump over him, or if you’re mid screen, jump back
Yawn. It’s such a situational ultra that posting some of that shit is irrelevant. Sorry we all don’t scramble to break the game down frame by frame.
Boxer’s TAP was a long shot, as should be obvious is my wording. He’s at a disadvantage for this situation. If you think Abel releases instantly, jump. If you think he’ll hold it, do an armor breaking punch.
Chun can EX Fireball at the right range or just jump back. EX SBK works, but the average player will not have enough time to charge during the U2 animation and if he holds it while you release, he gets a free ultra. Same could be said for her DF Flip Kick if he releases near the end.
