Excellent movie and worth all of my $12.50 to boot. Watched it in 3-D and in my opinion that’s like the only way to go now, I couldn’t possibly see it in 2-D anymore. Also saw it twice, once yesterday, and once again today, but this time it was for free, went with my aunt, uncle and her kids, they wanted me to go so they just paid for me, and it’s something that I couldn’t refuse.
I really like how they portrayed the characters, especially Capt. America whom imo is my fave Avengers hero. Cannot wait for more movies like this to show up. It’s just me being giddy however since they’re all from the Marvel world, it would be most epic to see a cross-over, possibly like Avengers and X-Men or whatever.
Movies great, and funniest thing is, I might see it again tomorrow, bwahahaha. Some of my buddies got left out and they want to go tomorrow, we’ll see if I take a 3rd trip and make it a 3-day Avengers fest.
Just seen Avengers…Awesome!! Delivered on all expectations after a 5 movie build-up.
My only slight gripe is i didn’t quite like the way Hulk looked. He was also a bit small, seemed a lot bigger in the last flick. Hulk should be like 9 feet of destruction, avenger’s Hulk was more like 7.4" at most.
The scenes he was in were great.
And i had my doubts on how Hawkeye would be handled, but he was pretty cool too.
Also loved the scene where Iron Man is thrown out the window, that was really slick! 
They could put an end to it right now and things would leave off perfectly fine on this note. But you know we’ll eventually see an Avengers 2.
Yeah I mean I didn’t click in this thread until I saw the movie. Not trying to call anyone out but its common sense.

Hulk in TIH = 9 feet and slim
Hulk in TA = 8.5 feet, but is more bulky than TIH version, and a brighter green, overall more preferred and more humane and monstrous looking.

Consider me a Hulkamanic although I’ve been a Hulk fan since I was a kid.
I really don’t have any major gripes about this movie aside from a few nitpicks that others have already touched upon.
One thing I didn’t like was how they kind of made hulk gorilla-like in his movements, even dragging his knuckles in a couple of scenes.
I like how Stark/Banner/Hulk became pals.
And of course the epic, Earth shattering, drawn out, final confrontation between Hulk and Loki. I could’ve gone either way!

Second, there is more in this thread than discussion of the movie itself. I most likely would have missed the second after credit scene if I hadn’t seen people mention it here. It’s also turned into a general Avengers discussion thread, talking about different characters and filling people in on things they might miss in the movie if they didn’t read it here. After the weekend, I’m sure it’s going to be hard to avoid spoilers here, but use some common sense, at least wait until the opening weekend is over to give everyone a fair chance to get to it. Some of us actually have jobs we need to get to.
I’m just saying, go back the past few pages, you’ll see more than movie spoilers, there’s some good conversation here. Everyone else knows enough to keep things in spoilers for a few days, not everyone can get to these things opening night. After the weekend, I’d expect things to go out the window here.
Don’t insult me by recommending that piece of sh*t. I just said I wanted less drama and more action in ‘Rises’.
In short, more like ‘Begins’ and less like ‘Dark Knight’.

Walked into my local comic book store today it has been 5 years since I been in one. Felt like a kid again in a candy store, brought most of the A vs X (Avengers vs X-Men) Comics. There were a lot of people there buying/looking around because of the Avengers movie. The guy at the shop told me that they haven’t been that packed in awhile even that being free comic book day today. I wanted to ask is the Dark Avenger series any good?

Dark Avengers was ‘aight’. The only interesting person on the team was Daken. Secret Avengers is your best bet for a good Avengers book.
