By far the best line goes to Zuko. “My father decided to teach me a permanent lesson, ON MY FACE!” Especially since he got all in her personal space and pointed at his face when he said it.
this ep was the perfect example as to y this show needs to be one hour long. All the character development was cool but it felt rushed. That being said by far the best episode of the season so far.
Just caught up with the sword and beach episode. So I guess it turns out Sokka was the one that made that random meteor sword you see in thousands of RPGS haha.

The more episodes that center on the Fire Nation, the better. Excellent episode, a little rushed in certain areas, but it’s only 22 minutes. It’s amazing how much character development they actually do get in considering that.
Crap, this is one of the best episodes of anything I’ve seen, anywhere.

Yeah, just finished it, it was a really good episode, and WOW at the fire merc’s pyrokinesis. I hope they fully explain that cause that shit was amazing. Also, fav part of the whole episode was the flashback still images of the beach house with Zuko, it really got me.
Yes, that was emotional awesomeness too. Funny how they showed quite a lot of development in such little time (relatively). Even the arguing was great.

That episode was bananas. More of that character development. The other side of the family tree. And more flashbacks than you can shake a stick at. This has me so intrested in knowing more about the family history of these characters. And you might wanna take to the website with the new eps that Shukuda mentioned. Let’s say Episode 7 makes a fantasy come true.

Awesome ep as usual. Although I wonder why the old Avatar couldn’t have done more water bending to counteract the lava flow.
it wasn’t a matter of being overpowered, he ingested too much “poisonous gas” and he could have survived if the fire lord saved him but he left and the fire avatar couldnt fend for himself.
also, he probably knew he was going to die and if he went into the avatar state and died then the chain would be broken so i think he died knowing that a new avatar would be born which would accomplish what he couldnt or didnt want to do (which was confront the fire lord)
