Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

Oh, so this is the episode the creators are using as an apology to the shipper phaggots in season one that were crying over Mako x Asami.

Exciting. :coffee:

A lot of us just gave up on the show. We were told to stop watching and we did.

I just checked this thread on a whim. I was considering trolling this thread but without watching the show at all anymore that’s a little hard, plus nobody reads this anymore. I am trolling another thread right now, come join me if you want. People don’t read multiple threads on these forums anymore apparently so you can just isolate your trolling to specific people that stick to specific threads, and just act normally everywhere else haha.

That’s what I thought since the moment I first heard him.

Eh, it’s only because you still hear Zuko, like everyone else

I’m fucking pissed about that cliffhanger. Finally get to see Korra vs. The Twins and she gets swallowed by a gotdamn Spirit Sea Serpent. Bullshit!

I know why Korra dropped Mako. She saw this

Bolin makes all the girls get their raincoats[/details]

I wanna see more flashbacks of either the old gang or the ones that are old as hell now (Tenzin and crew). This new cast isn’t as entertaining.

Bolin has been in the gym, pumping that iron

Muscular Legs are Muscular. Straight looking like He-Man in that getup…could help him thaw out Eska though, if you know what I mean.

Yo this episode was actually POPPIN. Like, it feels like Korra finally hit its stride. Ecen Tenzin’s subplot is dope right now. Zuko’s daughter is gonna come in, dat ocean spirit fight. That was objectively the best episode so far.

Zuko’s daughter?

episode

I like the tribal music in the last fight. Reminds me a bit of the dance party at the fire nation

  1. Dante Basco (voice of Zuko/Iroh II) is 38.

  2. We can also say the same about…

I’m really hoping that Korra gets served a slice of humble pie, hopefully sooner than later. She goes to Mako’s job, kicks his door down, and gets in his face. The man is being rational and doing his job, and all Korra’s been doing is making hasty decisions. At this point I consider her the most unlikeable character.

Also, I had Varrick written off as a clown, but he’s a genius in his own right.

Tenzin = Aang
Kya = Katara
Bumi = Sokka

Getting impatient, I wanna see the flashback with the 1st Avatar :smiley:

This broad is a horrible avatar.

Bring Aang back, plz. Or if you want a female avatar, bring that Earth bender that trained Aang. Kiyoshi, was it?

I honestly do not know how to deal with the ending of that episode.

I like how it ended but damn, Korra just had the worst day ever.

What Korra is doing isn’t that much different from what Kyoshi did. Kyoshi would either wreck your shit or murder you. Korra main problem is that she’s weak. Even with Avatar State she can’t get the job done.

Exactly. Kyoshi was a boss. Korra isn’t.

  1. Iroh’s actor is 38, no helping that he sounds like that. It’s fan service, get over it.
  2. Korra really needs to get her Avatar State game, so far everytime she’s done she’s been bodied by the spirit. Everytime she goes avatar state, it just looks like she gets a power up to her bending and not become a GOD like Aang did when he went avatar state.

The only member of the group missing a statue now is Katara.

The difference between Korra and Kyoshi is more than just raw power. Kyoshi was straight and to the point. If something was wrong, she’d do whatever it took to maintain peace in a cold and calculating manner. She didn’t strike me as the type to rush in blindly without having some sort of strategy first.

Korra on the other hand is hotheaded and rash, often doing stuff out of sheer emotion. It’s been shown time and time again that she will disregard solid advice/counsel in favor of doing whatever she feels like. The reason that she can’t get the job done is due to her inability to slow down and listen…or plan. She’ll probably get better over time (or when reality slaps her in the face), but right now I’d like to hit her with a clue mallet.

The only action I remember seeing of Kiyoshi was when Aang asked for her help, and she was shown fighting some tyrant. Too little info to compare Korra to her.
I want to see more of the female avatars like the previous Air monk. When Aang restored Korra’s powers, a **fire **bender avatar was also shown. I can imagine she being hot-headed like Korra. Get it?
