That Thundercats finale still fucks with me. It basically capped an entire season of Lion-O getting fucked over by friends and family, with no repercussions.

The animation in the first avatar was spectacular, the backgrounds were works of art, this new book was garbage compared to the first. It just felt like a cash in with the same shitty formula. Instead of continuing to be original they just dragged the great reputation the first earned into the garbage.

I don’t think it will be cancelled, as the 3rd and 4th seasons were confirmed long ago, and development for them already begun. I think it would be more likely for them to be put on hiatus, in the worst of the cases, but I doubt a cancellation will happen.
Whatever, who knows, I’d hope the creators will focus on Season 3 and 4, and they probably just left season 2 as a filler season. But that’s probably too much wishful thinking.

I placed my feelings over the start of this season early on but at no point did I say “man this show is garbage and everything sucks!” If you don’t want to ignore my posts and continue whining about my objections, that’s now your fucking problem. Take your own damn advice and get the fuck over yourself.
I’m not the type of guy who will say an entire series is ass if I didn’t see it through. I can only voice my dissatisfaction for the series up to the point I dropped it. I can’t talk shit about Naruto after the first arc of the time skip because that’s where I stopped.

Lol. It’s one thing if masochists were “hate-watching” a crappy show all along and bitching, it’s another thing when ardent viewers are seeing a noticeable drop in quality and are voicing their concerns on a forum.
And it’s not on the viewership base to assume the plot will get better without evidence; but fans are still hopeful that things will eventually pick up, which is why we keep watching. Simple as that.
Putting it on Friday was a bad idea from the get go, so far the season is barely starting give it at least 5 episodes.
Also the comment about cartoons being done in the west is true outside of the 3 mentioned (Korra, AT & Regular Show) I just don’t see other interesting series outside of cancelled ones (sniff Symbiotic Titan).
We complain because we care and are passionate about a franchise we don’t wanna see fail…if we didn’t give a shit about avatar we wouldn’t care if the dip in quality would eventually get the series shelved forever.
I know the original Avatar aired on Friday, but why did this one get moved?

And regular show is…I like adventure time more. But I had to really give that show a big chance to enjoy it. Regular show still hasn’t won me over yet but I don’t hate it anymore either.
But most western cartoons are pretty shit nowadays. They lack that flair the older ones had.

This isn’t Naruto where you’ve read/watched a slow steady decline over a period of 3-4 years in quality. At that point you have the right to bitch if you’ve stuck it out that damn long hoping for a return to a previous glory and you’d probably be preaching to the choir. The same could be said for fans of Fairy Tail.

Korra’s whole war intervention thing is starting to get on my nerves, but the feud between the siblings seems interesting. I still can’t help but feel like these plots could’ve been better eased into the story. I think the late episodes might clear this up, hopefully gets better pacing…
I’m sure it has nothing to do with the Korra’s complete gullibility when it comes to her uncle.
Seriously, how does the avatar see war ships approaching her tribe and not react like “Get the fuck out!” ?
