100% agreed. The space behind the wall was virtually unused. Putting it against the wall would’ve helped.

Tourny was fun, too bad it was a little packed. Lol, the owner(?) kept on closing the door, he seemed pissed that people kept the door open?

Definately fun, only thing I’d reccomend assuming a bigger area couldn’t be obtained is to actually make a more legitimate effort to call for players. It wasn’t that people weren’t paying attention or leaving without concern for when they were up, but that there wasn’t enough room for everyone to be within range of the announcer’s voice when he was literally talking the matchups rather than shouting them. Hell a good portion of the people were resting outside between matches because there simply wasn’t enough room in Tek Republic to house everyone even semi-comfortably. Player’s eventually had to step in to start yelling people’s names because the organizers weren’t being loud enough to be heard 5 feet away.
Only thing i’d recommend is to make sure you call matches immediately after they’re reported and a TV is open. 3s and GG had their equipment open for long periods of time without matches being called even though results had been reported. This was really only an issue once Marvel registration began, but it made GG and 3s take A LOT longer than they would have been otherwise.
The equipment situation oddly enough was only an issue till the other 2 TV’s showed up cuz the 4-5 setups we had are really the maximum that the place could have with that kind of turn out.
Overall I liked the tourney because playing against good players is always fun.
Mad props to Jose Ryu, loved your Ryu man. Felt bad for the players when DJ walked in front of their game. I was the Makoto on pad. Can’t complain to much since the whole experience definitely gave me a lot of ideas to improve my game, and showed me what I needed to work on.

That was hilarious though, both of us had our hearts racing, near the end both of us were just staring at each other in-game while crouching, lmao. The ex backswing at the end was awesome, I should have expected it after you’ve been using it for a while.

Mopreme beasting in casuals before leaving was pretty scary.
