About Arcade UFO
Arcade UFO is the only independently owned coin-operated arcade in Texas. Since 2008, we have followed in the footsteps of the legendary Einstein?s Arcade to both carry on the scene for dedicated regulars and to expand the appeal of arcade gaming by importing new arcade cabinets and titles directly from Japan. We supplement this with a cozy and intimate atmosphere, friendly attendants who are passionate about arcade gaming, and ardent fidelity towards the Japanese Game Center.
Arcade UFO is co-owned by Ryan Harvey and Crissy Knape, both native Austinites. Ryan graduated with a BA in Japanese at UT Austin, pumping countless 100 yen coins into arcades in 2005 and 2006 while studying abroad in Tokyo. Crissy is an Education major at UT who is grinding beats in Dance Dance Revolution or Pop?n Music when she?s away from the books!
