Hey just wanna ask which arcades ya’ll play at in Austin. I’m gonna be moving to San Marcos in August so I’ll probably start going over to Austin to get some gaming in.
Well Lefun and Einsteins on campus are some popular places. But for mvc2 Lakeline Mall has the best sticks. We try to hold weekly tournies there every saturday. Welcome to Austin home of the slanted sticks where low short rules all. Also just wanted to say Good luck to all that decide to went to Houston. I once again will not be going. It’s cool though I don’t practice enough. I need to gain that “Eye of the Tiger” mentality again. Still been dying to check out Stargate. Thanks man, I played a really annoying run away Storm in some of my matches, those wins aren’t as pretty, I just decided not to play anymore and run. Eric and Minh are either tied or very close, Eric had Hitler in the second round so he went down to the losers early but came back to win 3 matches while Minh won 2 matches in the winners then either 1 or 2 in the losers. Minh being random had its moments, like calling Doom and do hypergrav tempest while the guy is almost full screen from you but he called his commando assist and almost got him killed. Qui wasn’t playing well, missing ice pillars all over the place so Cable/CapCom had to do too much and ended up losing early. I have problems playing against a good Spiral, I just don’t play against her enough to know how to beat her yet. It was 1-1 against Joe and he busted out Spiral/Cable/Sent and I was forced to start Storm because I had won with her second match, Storm just got chipped too much before I finally brought Sent in and then he countered Cable in, then it’s hard for me to win against Cable with meter and Spiral assist.
Where were you Brad? I thought you were going to make it too.

Okay, what do you mean when you said 6-7 is considered early? If you want the tournament on Saturday to start earlier, we can do it at 12 or 12:30, just tell me when you guys want it. I can play tomorrow (thursday) in the afternoon, either LL or le fun is fine with me, I like the sticks on LL but le fun is ok for most things.
I’ll meet at LL or Le fun brad and larry. I guess we can say LL,for now, but I may go tonight to Le fun to check out sticks. I’ll post how they are doing.
I went yesterday and the machine on the right side was suspect at best. That was the one that worked better the last time I was there so who knows. Scrubs were on the left machine so I didn’t bother them. Le fun has GGXX and that is the reason I wanted to go there. Is that game out for home console yet? Do ya’ll know the basics of that game? I have played it a couple of times and I just have no idea what is going on. It looks flashy as hell though.

Yeah its as I figured about Le fun. One day they work and the next you never know. But I will check tonight. Yeah I know I’ve seen GGXX and it looks like a real fun game to learn, but I doubt I could learn it well. I might take me a while since I never played the first.
