hey guys this is kevin. good games to all this past saturday. anyway, i’ve been trying to practice different characters a little and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to do that sentinel fly combo in the corner, i’ve looked for it in the sentinel thread and couldn’t find it. thanks later.

The easiest one is, launch, sj jab, short, jab, short, fierce rocket punch, fierce, roundhouse, sj short, fierce, fly, throw, short, short, dp rocket punch.

Another one involves fast fly, I’m still not that good with it, but I manage to hit it once in a while. Anyways, launch, sj short, fast fly short + call AAA(preferably Cyclops or Commando), short, fierce rocket punch, AAA hits, follow with throw, short, short, dp rocket punch, throw, short + call AAA, short, dp rocket punch, AAA hits, throw, short short dp rocket punch(fly should start to end by this point), fierce, roundhouse. More than likely the character will be dead at this point.
Larry, Eric, Minh: JustinW = Justin Wong, Jwong = Josh Wong. That was Justin that posted in the Showdown thread, Martin’s been trying to talk him into coming.

i haven’t played the game in a while, im pretty much bored with it, well obviously ive been bored with it for a while. Never really play it more than get togethers or tournaments. I think txsd will be my last tournament for a while. I will stay away from fighting games until i starts to get interesting again. Infact i think the last time i cared much about it was an year ago. I think I’ll just entertain myself with splinter cell and zelda for now and of course war3. quit cs too, won’t play until 1.6

It was houstons idea to leave out 5 players not erics. Personally I would rather play whoever ya’ll think are your best players cuz I hardly ever make it down there and I really don’t get to see much around here besides larrys team “run away like a scared bitch” and a whole bunch of cables. I don’t need to drive 100 miles to play a bunch of cable whores. But who cares cuz top 5 in austin are playin in this and if apex is used then I won’t be in it.

i was down for the top austin vs top houston. I like playing houston’s best, always gets the best out of me, and I don’t want to get a bull shit victory over houston by playing their almost best team. I think the top five of Austin is (in no paticular order other than dirtiness) me, brad, larry, eric, david, mihn.(i know thats six) But i guess this allows top 5 plus an alternative. incase so and so doesnt show or doesnt want to play. I’m sorry i exclude anyone, but I’m not sure whos going, and I’m sure us six are all going. The team i guess will be managed on saturday, whoever is there, or maybe friday have a little qualifying tourney(i doubt it will happen considering how full it will be). I think the best to do is maybe vote. We will see this weekend

I also think if we’re going to do this Austin vs Houston thing, we should just get the best 5 players from each town and have a 5 on 5 tournament, but everyone should play so it would go something like this, A as in Austin and H as in Houston.
A1 vs H1, A2 vs H2 and not like A1 vs H1 if A1 wins, he stays on and faces H2, this puts more pressure on everybody since you only get one shot and that’s it. I personally vote for just John Bunn vs Minh though, but since John told me he doesn’t even play the game anymore, the chances are this probably won’t happen.
Kevin: I have no idea which combo Sent has that involves 3 stomps, the only one that would probably work is Sent on the ground, superjump roundhouse, fast fly roundhouse, unfly roundhouse and see if you stun them enough so you can continue the combo into rp into hsf, etc.
I’m also going to Houston Friday, gas from Austin to Houston = $10, casual play and drinks in SG = $12, going to denny’s with a bunch of people = $13, watching Stiggz beat the saltine challenge = priceless.
I will have to see what this saltine challenge is.
I am not going to tourney this weekend. It’s my moms B-day so I will be out of town.
