This is sounding picky, but even on your location thing (Most to do you probably haven’t given the time to change it) says your from cali. You make it sound like since youre from cali we got to respect you. When in reality, if your a nice guy and treat everyone as friends, we will gladly do the same. I don’t know what you really want, winning a tournament seems to be your main goal. But being in the SF scene, I have made many friends, all really cool. That’s the true motivation I have to continue playing. Winning a tournament, there’s some respect, but winning a friendship comes great respect. I’m not very good at mvc2, but people respect me because I respect them. If being good at a video game is that important in your life, then thats fine. As much of an asshole I am while playing games, I know its all for shits and giggles. As you can see, Austin players are really sensitive to negative comments. I say stuff like people should try to learn new tactics and improve in various areas and now I’m the asshole of the community. When you play in tournaments, people don’t say much shit. Personally, I hate that 95% of Austin are such pussies. It’s just words and 99% of the times we’re just joking around so who gives a shit. Who gives a shit what Houston or where thinks. If you want to prove them wrong do so. Honestly, I only say shit when I respect their game. That’s why Larry and Brad S. get the most shit from me. Carney Brad, I don’t feel I get equal respects from you. You seem think that your above everyone else’s level. You judge me by my mvc2 skills and not by the person I am. Judginig people’s skill by the characters they use is pretty ignorant too. As I said Cable takes so much skill so do Blackheart and Doom. I play magneto, storm, sentinel cause all I have to do is rush that shit down; no thinking is involved. I’m sure I would play better if I thought more, but I don’t. I beat people with mindless rushdown, does that make me good? I respect someone more if they beat me with a non storm/sent/mag based team.

A certain Houston player who’s been “arguing” with me in this thread just disagrees with me on what defines a scrub, however he DOES agree that all you guys ARE scrubs (again, you = everyone but Larry/Sungjin, etc). Not only does he agree with me, nearly all Houston players I’ve spoken with do too… however, I won’t name any names. If they want to voice their opinion, let them. I’m not going to do it for them.
I got to Lakeline late because no one confirmed the tournament so I decided to swing on by after returning stuff at circuit city. Low short > Austin. Also, the ugliest msp mirror match was fought between me and david. Triangle jumps did not exist and it was just seeing who can land a low short first. David’s blocking low skills owned many people. I was a victim of his rampage.
one thing to say, carnevil is stupid…and games are just games, we play wat we wants and even if we are cable scrubs then why do u care. u have the benefits from us using scrubbies teams against ur OOOHHH SO GODLY TEAMS…
