Brad: I won’t have enough vacation time until Christimas of this year, I plan to go back to the US for at least a week, I will go up to Austin for sure then. Trust me on this, I am NOT trying to work hard, it’s sort of demanded of me and pretty much all of my co-workers.
You guys should all go to http://www.denjinvideo.com/ and get the latest MVC2 videos, these matches are really good and we can all know even good players makes mistakes when pressured and their executions will suffer in tournament situations, potter had the 3rd game between him and combofiend, that was just one captain fire too many, Mag is just too fast for you to something that has lag on the ground and that close, his storm is really good though, he almost make a comeback with her alone, scary.
Now for something funny, about 2 weeks ago this certain marvel player (let’s not name names here, we don’t want to embarass him any further, apparently he told me he’s very much embarassed already) was playing MVC2 on his DC with pads when his g/f wants to play against him. Trying to show off how good he was at this game, he arranged a match where he had the damage set at 4 while his handicap was at 1 and his g/f’s at 8, he picked Strider/Doom/CapCom and his g/f picked Morrigan/Juggernaut/Tron and all the right assists, trying to be as flashy as he can knowing he had all these disadvantages, this certain marvel player went all out and was attacking relentlessly, but since his big mouth had told his g/f by pressing those 2 shoulder buttons, you can do super moves, his g/f did it when she had 3 levels of super, this was not a pretty scene. Let’s just say this certain marvel player thought legion beats team super and all he could see was this big red looking thing absolutely demolished his first 2 characters, Juggernaut is a horrible character to be in this game, seriously.

It’s good to hear from you Larry, also always good to see life in the Austin thread. Yeah Robert we’ve been getting in marvel binges as of late, in prep for TS4. Man that sucks Larry no time to come to Austin till Dec, but yeah don’t work too hard and also do we know this person that got owned by team super??

ok this is wat i had in mind…free tourney or just casual cuz tourney really doesn’t mean a thing to me no more, this sunday or sat your choice of pick…just show up, i will pay for 6 hrs of marvel at Lan’s Edge…i just need people to come and show up so i can prepare for TS4. Let me know if u interested in FREE MARVEL??? and which date, cuz this is the last week to get serious before showdown.

Yeah I wanted to go on Friday but something came up so I will probably have to go on Saturday, and if worse comes to worse Sunday. I hope it doesn’t come to that, but if it does oh well. But if I can make for the team tourney I’ll play for Austin.
Also Eric was wondering if it’s possible to make a stick for me, since I asked Vinnyman but haven’t got a response. I’m sure he’s just been busy, but I need a stick badly, and I remember reading earlier in the thread that you guys made some more sticks with 360’s. So any help would be appreciated. Lastly Steve I will try to make it tomorrow for some binging. We should try get some more Austin people too. Damn making trips to Austin simply for marvel, it doesn’t get any better than that. Well sorry for the long post, but later all.
