Marvel may not be dead, but it sure is on life support.
Crime is not too bad in actuallity. Of course when you have SXSW, your going to have an huge boost in crime, but that can’t be considered into the austin crime equation. I live on the north side (lamar area), and I walk around the streets at all hours of the night. The only problem i’ve ever had with austin, is the homeless. Have you seen that one southpark episode “Spare some change. . .”, yeah its exactly like that.
We do have a fair amount of homeless here. Alot of vets also. You see like homeless ppl on a suburban corner beggin for change. But as far as crime goes i live in north austin and havent had any troubles. Also if you care at all the bud here is decent.
Yea Austin is a great city for bud, just gotta know the right people and also the thing about Austin homeless that I always found funny is the majority of them are white lol
Random homeless people asking for money on the street corner is pretty common. Anyone ever seen this Grizzlie Adams looking guy around I-35 and 1825 with a sign that says “family killed by ninjas, need money for karate class”?
Also, crime depends on which part of town you live in.

They fixing the machine, but not sure how much longer it is gonna be. Hopefully they will fix the power problem, so the opticals don’t get fucked after like 20mins of playing.
