The Mississippi Fighting Game Union presents Union Strike.
MJ’s Restaurant and Pub ( http://www.facebook.com/MJsRestaurantandPub ) are hosting us for the day. They are going to have a special menu just for us. No outside food allowed.
Fees:
$5 venue fee
$10 entry per game

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
Skullgirls
(other games such as King of Fighters XIII, Soul Calibur V, Mortal Kombat 9 will be available if we can get at least 8 players signed up. MK9 will only be available if one of the participants can supply a setup.)
Rules:
MARVEL, AE, and other games
Best 2 out of 3 (and 3 out of 5 for grand finals).
SKULLGIRLS ONLY
Best 3 out of 5 (same for grand finals).
For all games, winner must keep same character, loser may switch characters. In AE, winner may switch ultra. In UMVC3, winner may switch assists but must retain same character order. In Skullgirls, the winner of each game is team/character locked and assis locked, loser is free to switch team/character/assist.
Pausing or using the guide/home buttons on your controller will be grounds for disqualification from the match. If you are using a wireless pad, please be sure to turn it off when your match is completed!
I see that this is at a restaurant. Will I be allowed to do mods there?
Yessir. Because of part of the restaurant we will be in. It’s kinda out of the way.
The venue and date has changed for the event do to some unfortunate circumstances. It will now be August 4th at Comfort Inn & Suites. 122 Plaza Dr. Hattiesburg, MS. How many people are you expecting? I might bring a crew from Fort Walton Beach / Pensacola for Marvel. Any big players? What’s the Marvel scene like up there?
We have 44 signed up to attend. There will be more however.
HyperdriveX from Jackson, MS will be there. I’m hoping GarywithGlasses from New Orleans will be there. Some good players in Hattiesburg.
Marvel 3 will definitely be the biggest game. I’m expecting at least 30 in that game.

Alright sweet. I don’t know who’s planning to go from down here, but if I do end up going I’ll likely drag Gary and a few friends with me. Plans for that weekend got postponed so I’m free more or less.
