Welcome to Rochester’s newest tournament series: Trial of Nightmare.
Trial of Nightmare works to illuminate Rochester’s competitive fighting scene by offering a rotating menu of 2D and 3D fighters, with each event featuring one game from each family.
Friday, August 3rd – The first Trial of Nightmare will feature a very special guest along with our first two games: The King of Fighters XIII and Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. Please arrive promptly to receive all applicable beatdowns. Come out and come hungry.

Sign-ups begin: 7:00 p.m.
Brackets begin: 8:00 p.m.
Event ends in full: 12:00 a.m.
The event is on a Friday evening and begins promptly at 8:00 p.m. with the entire thing being over with everyone cleared out at midnight. Your consideration for our schedule is greatly appreciated.
Venue fee: $0
KoFXIII entry fee: $5
VF5:FS entry fee: $5
The entry fees are starting modestly to give players a chance to come out and experience these great fighting games. To aid in this effort, we are abolishing the venue fee with the hopes of getting kids up and out of their basements and back into the community to play some games and catch up with friends.
