When I built my last PC, I got a refurbed Audigy 4 soundcard for it, which only has 3 3.5mm outputs and would have come with an external breakout box if I got it retail. I recently managed to get an Audigy 2 ZS breakout box, but without any cables.
I know Creative like to make revisions incompatible, but I’m hoping they’ll work together. My problem is that I can’t find the cable to connect it to my soundcard anywhere. (Creative support were no help, just repeatedly giving me canned responses asking for warranty numbers.)
There are 2 connections; AD_LINK 2 seems to be standard firewire but I was wondering if anyone recognises/knows what connector the AD_LINK 1 part of the cable uses, or if they could provide a provide a part number or even a pinout diagram so I can attempt to make my own. I’m hoping it’s not a proprietary connector - I don’t trust myself soldering the actual soundcard.
The port is about 3mm x 15mm (20mm including the locking pin things) with 13 pins along each edge. (26 total)
Failing that, if anyone even knows where I could buy a replacement cable I’d be muchos greatful.
