so i bought a ticket for my girl to go with me to evo 09 but her finances cant pull it off for her. so i my first thought was to just sell the ticket to someone that would want to go. but i love this community and i try to help out as much as i can even through these rough times so i though how about i possably make it alittle easier for someone that would deserve to go.

so i though about this:

1.do a $10 raffle ticket and forget about a tourney.

2.do a $10 tourney and the prize is as follows

A) XBLTristate area only!!! or who every is willing to fly from jfk airport in the artlantic north… 4 to 5 bars baby
20+= 1st place plane ticket to evo or a $200 visa card
30+= 2nd place can get a $50 visa card
60+= 1st can get a new dell optiplex 755, plane ticket, or $300 visa… 2nd gets $150 visa…3rd gets $50 visa

B) local tourney same prizes as A.

i was also thinking about making this tourney an underdog event so that somone ppl a chance to go out there

I think you should host tourny someplace being that not everyone has xbl, plus the turn out will probably be larger

online tourney would suck for ps3 users under those conditions lol

ps FUCK second place prize, winner take ALL, plane ticket, if theres a lot of ppl competing, throw in food money. id rather my 10 go to someone who can prove their worth for this coast, than a chance at 40 extra dollars or w/e

As. Said in the other thread, I’m down. $10 tourny somewhere in NYC(manhattan since it’s the middle), Grand prize - ticket + $10, 2nd Dell + 10, 3rd $40 or 4th/5th prizes. And the rest just pocket or go towards the venue.

a $10 entrance fee is perfect. definitely do it man. I guess you should go make a topic in the tournament section if your definitely going to do this. let us know what games are going down.
