Looks like March 20th is going to be the date - Im going to try and have this done by this week. I am waiting to see if the hotel is fully booked, they have a wedding that weekend and might be using the entire ballroom (we need a partitioned section).
I’ll update info soon, but here is a general layout of the club events.
Registration is going to be done online - I will probably open up an Eventbrite registration for it as soon as I have the first date and then make sure we set the rest of the dates with the hotel.
6AM - Setup
8AM - Pre-Reg Badge pickup
10AM - Walk up Reg - The goal is to eventually have all reg online
12PM - Event Opens - Casuals
1PM - 1st Tourney Starts
1PM - 9PM tourney Schedules
11PM - Event Closes
Midnight - Teardown
I wanted to make badges for all the players and members of this club, something that has your Picture on it and your main character in the game you play. I will make the general layout for me and upload it so you guys have an idea.
This will give you guys more ownership over our group as a community and entry will be controlled with wristbands.

March 20th Manny is probably a bad idea, That’s Right after Final Round and I know a lot of Florida plans to go to Final Round and would probably not wanna make another drive the very next weekend. First Weekend in April might be the best time(April 7th-21st I won’t be able to do anything, My family is traveling to Australia so I’ll be holding down the family fort).

We might still be able to do feb 20th, hotel let me know they don’t have that big wedding at the same time, she is trying to give me the space for free lol so if that happens we won’t charge entry - unless you guys want us to put that toward the next one…I would keep it free if theres no charge ^_~

Everyone’s already planning for the gameday at my place which you are of course welcome to. But if you get the date a last minute thing could work out. Otherwise We should wait til first weekend in April if possible. I’ll be swamped with Final Fantasy 13 and God of War 3 in March lol.

This sounds excellent. It should really give us TvC players a feel for how strong the scene is. Count me in.
yo how i get in this, i been tryin to get the scene goin in wpb ( holdin tourneys, game nights, etc )
this is excellent! I would love to attend regular tourneys and matches in orlando, I havent really been able to make my mark in the tourney scene for the past 3 or 4 years but that was because the florida scene was either non exsistent or located in tampa/miami. Orlando is perfect since its right in the middle. I already know at least 8 people who would be interested in going. AWESOME JOB
oh and i should have clarified I meant a tourney scene that wasn’t for mainly street fighter.
I’m pretty sure Orlando has had a scene for the past 4 years and longer.
