I disagree with the PAL XI being “fucked up” - there is nothing on par with the absolute travesty that is PS2 KoF2k2. So one character’s name is wrong on the select screen, some ending text goes off the screen (only the first time you see it… from what I can tell subsequent viewings it’s fine), and there’s one freeze if you do something in the training menus - HARDLY game breaking stuff! The amount of time you spend viewing an ending/pissing around in training/staring at one name is pretty minor in comparison to the rest of the entire package.
Personally I really like XI, and I don’t have any massive problems with the PAL release - it’s just nice to get one!

**EVO East Vid Update- **Shodokan123 just told me The entire EVO East NeoWave matches have been uploaded to his CPU and are on his DVD recorder and once all the vids finish he says he is gonna ship me the 2-3 DVDs of EVO East SNK footage with instructions how to cut and paste them into the youtube account etc.
Things are moving fast now guys so just hold on a little while longer…

Not in NGBC. He is too slow and does no damage without trickshot setups that don’t work on people who know how to block. He is reduced to turtling and using Tactical Step to go through his opponent’s pokes so he can land his weak BnB and hopefully push his opponent into the corner where he may be able to get some actual offense going.

How is KOF 2002 for ps2 fucked up? I am planning I buying the KOF 02/03 pack soon and would like to know how bad the port is.
I’ve kinda been wondering this too, it seemed okay to me but then again I never got high-level with '02.

Guys 2002 is far from Arcade perfect on PS2…believe you me. (archived)
#1- The controls suck ass! I’m an SNK Native I am use to tough controls…but I have the arcade version with me here thus if you play it you’ll see an obvious difference in the controls. Arcade is 5x better.
#2- Hitboxes are different, some combos have been modified/made harder to do.
#3- Graphics are pathetic. If this is whats keeping people from playing KOF I gotta agree with them. Arcade’s graphics are much crisper and easier on the eyes as well. Its like the difference between Last Blade 2 for Arcade and for PS2…remember that Shiki, ace_uno and Nick? 
Now KOF2003 aint arcade perfect either…but at least its playable in a tournament because its like 3x closer to being arcade perfect than 2002. :tdown:
BTW Ace_Uno…you going to EVO World right for Garou?
