Geese, you’re ducking me. Where my money match. I’m the damn King of the coliseum. I want free money too just like ALEX!
ngbc is just silly
xi is fun though
No Lu you missed my last post a WHILE BACK…I said you down me vs. you OR me vs.Blake in NGBC…
You NEVER Responded…I said let me know if you have that $50…which you never did…lol.
Free money? Thatd be me vs. The Triad in NeoWave or SST NOW THATS FREE.
Free vs. me in NGBC or KOFXI? LOL Hardly as you will see, it wil appear FRX was just a memory…
Haohmaru SST Primer I-
- Obviously his St.C is still pretty good here, but its never been as fat as it has been in NGBC.
- Best Grooves are Ken and Ten. Ten enables you to combo into his Sam Sho II/CVS2 Super. Ken groove enables you to combo into Shoryu Reppa Super.
- Little used poke I use a lot of- Running A.
- Far St. b is good as always for a poke, but you cannot combo from it at all.
- New DG Bnb- Cr. D (kick), Wait, cr. A, DP+C. This is the new BNB I use with Haohmaru in casuals off a low.
- DG Haohmaru Corner Guessing Game- Do the bnb comboon wakeup (Low), or rdp+A (Overhead), or run in throw. Pretty simple.
- Use his Sake attack (Qcb+D) to bat back projectiles and knock an opponent down. Once you knock an opponent down from this attack they CANNOT TECH.
- Neutral Jump C beats many things so keep that in mind.
- In Ten with meter A+B Starter toBBC+Super is your best bet.
- Haoh?s pretty simple, always has been and he hasn?t changed, well rounded overall but TOO simple for me.
Suija SST Primer I-
- All of his moves are done in the air even his super. So come up with as many ways to get in the air as possible be it your groove or whatever. That means backdash etc.
- One way to get in the air is via Anti Air Cr.C. If you want a combo that works, Cr. C links into mid air qcf+a. So yes if it hits you got qcf+a guaranteed.
- Most used aerial attacks with Suija are his multibubbles (Air rdp+p), his Shield (Dp+P, which afterwards you can attack after!) Aerial Stomp (qcf+D in air) or flying command Grab (aerial qcb+D)
- Know that also timed correctly Down+C will combo into Aerial Super!! Guaranteed!
- Know also that The Aerial Bubbles OTGS IF THEY DO NOT TECH
- Another DG Combo- Like Sogetsu, Suija can combo his Ten groove Combo of a Forward+D low because it produces sooo much hitstun you cancombo into it! My favorite combo in the corner- F+D, A+B Starter, BBCxxDelayed Aerial Super.
- DG Suija Flying Crossup Madness Part I: This is Part I of why Suija is very difficult to use. He has MANY mindgames in the air. Most I use are ambiguous crossup variations. Say you jump over your opponent and right over their head do an aerial bubble. Depending on how you fall out of the bubble (I use A bubble for my crossup games) depends on how you can follow up! Note that you can follow up with any of his aerial moves EXCEPT the bubble again falling out of a bubble…ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND. So max 2 moves in the air in other words, with the Bubble being the way to do that.
- -Best normal out of the bubble for ambiguous crossups once mastered- Aerial DB+D. Aerial DB+D is very good and if you master it out of a bubble you can make for Iori-ike crossups.
- Mixups out of bubble:
- Multi Bubbles with Rdp+C,
- Aerial Command Grab
- CROSSUP Multibubbles/single bubble
- Aerial Stomp
- CROSSUP AERIAL STOMP
Theres other options but I will leave you be for now…Suija is tough to use…but I enjoy winning with him in casuals…
ight just making sure you need to change that line up for snk games too
I’m practically savouring the cheesesteaks already. :wgrin:
Edpachi- The lineup pretty much is gonna revolve around the Triad War…
NEC7 ended up that way thus like everything having to do with the Triad War meaning mainly NGBC +KOFXI ANYTHING takes center stage. Other stuff is mainly if we have time.
I will go ahead and play you in NeoWave, KOFXI, and FFS first to five of course and yes everyone all of this is getting recorded…a great way to start off Season #2…
And yes Alex is right…The Cheesesteaks are ANOTHER GREAT WAY TO START THE SEASON!!!
Enja SST Primer I-
- First thing you must know about Enja is that he is the Tung Fu Rue (NGBC) of this game, except hella harder to Master. He is surely a one trick pony, and if you get it you will do Tung Fu Rue like damage in SST. What is the trick? Confirming his qcf+a, qcf+b, qcf+C move on your opponent. Timing is almost character specific, but I it lands its easily half life gone off ONE MOVE. But the trade off is that it is REALLY HARD to master.
- Besides that he does have another one to master, but I would surely NOT worry about that one till you can get the non meter one down.
- Best Grooves are Ten and Sam Sho III Groove. Why the Three Groove? Because he has the fastest battery in the game. He will fill up his meter in THREE SECONDS…making yet another mini game if you can get it down.
- Sam Sho III Groove DG Strat #1- Everytime you get a knockdown or something that pushes your opponent back, Charge up your super via A+B. This will keep them from jumping. If they jump, SUPER. Once it hits you have 3 seconds to charge up the meter AGAIN. Rinse repeat.
- He has some good overhead options etc like off a Forward+D (low) he can combo into Ten Groove starter into finisher like Super or DP+k. Or his Low BNB- Forward+D into St…B into his Qcf+A, qcf+B, qcf+C series.
- His overhead BNB- If the opponent is crouching ONLY, then do F=B (overhead) which if it hits has a nice long stun so you can see it, then follow up with his qcf+a,qcf+b, qcf+D series.
- As you see everything depends on you landing thie acf+a series with Enja. Do not believe he is the Tung of this game??? Play against the CPU in 1p mode and see for yourself…the CPU will nail the half life combos EVERYTIME…meaning it touches you practically YOU DIE. The CPU does NOT MISS.
FYI- I will be in San Antonio tomorrow for business so in the future I will be able to literaly scout out the San Antonio “Culebra” scene that we have head so much about in the future and also get matches recorded. Either tomorrow or Saturday I will type up a Yunfei Primer I for those that did ask. Then I will type up a OchaMaru one and then I will do a Goddes Athena Primer I for NGBC.

SST EVO Vids update- UHK has said he will beign uploading SST footage from EVO World SNk 2007 Saturday.
I got a debate for you all- Youtube or no youtube?
Should I put vids on youtube or not? Why? Because fact is youtube has more people that see the vids and people are STILL commenting on the vids from EVO North though they aint accurate BY FAR. Yes others have better quality and I need to still use them, but should I also use youtube for like EVO East SNK 2008, EVO North SNK 2008 and like EVO West SNK 2008???
Should I save The Crisp quality for Mexico footage (LOL irony since most Mexco footgae you see is shitty quality no? lol) and EVO World footage?
Once again I cannot deny the effect youtube is having on expanding the SNK realm…its having a MONSTROUS effect,
I cannot begin to tell you the number of people that DO NOT KNOW I HAVE OTHER VIDS ON STAGE6 and the numbers of people almost DAILY I get subscribing to my Youtube vids…thus I gotta keep the Youtube engine going somehow right?
I will be in San Antonio Friday till night time so it may take me a while to respond.

Link to your S6 account in your vids.
While it’s true that YouTube has lower quality, audience is important, and if you want to get exposure and interest in these underappreciated games like SSTenka and NGBC, you gotta go to YouTube.
Just make sure you label the vids well so that people who don’t know about SRK or the tournaments, but are still looking for stuff about the games, can be exposed to them on YouTube.
Is Ozzy/Kyo/Vanessa a good team?
I just put this team together in my head, but never tested it.
Things I see in this team are:
+The whole team is nothin but rushdown
+Every one of em has a lot of mixups
+The team is almost Kula/Gato proof
+Ozzy
-not easy to use chars
-hard to pick between Ozzy or Vanessa as leader
Opinions?
Oswald leader. The practicality of it compared to Vanessa’s cannot be overstated.
Dunno how that team is Kula/Gato proof, though.
i’d rather have Vanessa over Oz as leader, but that could be my love for Vanessa speaking.:bluu: They could be good, you’ll have to put in work, but they should be good.
Kula/Gato proof is something me and my friends consider when your team members don’t easily fall for some of the shit Kula or gato can throw at you.
One says Ozzy, one says Vanessa.
Both can do good amounts of damage of an LDM.
Damn, can’t decide.:looney:
EDIT: are there any match-ups where Vanessa would make a better leader than Ozzy?
go for the Vanessa leader, thats more interesting :wgrin:
how would you guys tier the sub-bosses (Adelheid, Gai, Hayate, Silver, Jyazu) in KoFXI?
They’re all at the very least C-class (Hayate is not as bad as Momoko, no matter what the tier lists say). Gai might be considered B-class in some circles. Jyazu I believe is B-class or maybe even A-Class.
They’re actually fairly well balanced, each one has a fairly blatant weakness or two:
Adelheid: Terrible stamina, no reliable anti-air w/o meter
Gai: No chip damage, only close range attacks
Hayate: Worst stamina, bad recovery
Silber: SLOOOOOOOOOOW
Jyazy: Worst stamina, bad start-up on many moves
Don’t play either oz or van as leader, it’s a waste of a leader. Oz is better leader. He eliminates jumps when you have it.
I would consider Gai B-class or even A-class maybe (considering if you put Gato and Kula as SS tier).
Also Gai has really high defense (takes 96% of damage), high guard crush resistence (takes 91% of all guard crush damage, so he is the second hardest character to guard crush) and has the highest stun residence in the game (takes 95% of all stun damage). Really easy to do QS combos with, and doesn’t really need meter at all to do good damage. Plus Gai Spider:lovin:.
But yea, he needs to be up close and is much harder character to learn.
