Remind me and I will gladly post up Haohmaru, Suija, and Yunfei stuff whenever Iget the time. That might not be this week or this weekend but like next Tuesday.work has me superbusy all of a sudden…but when I get them time I will write up onall of them. Plus I may be going back to Mexico in TWO WEEKS GUYS…seriously…but this time for business…but should I do I am certainly hitting up Juarez or my Spanish ladies and certainly gonna get some footage recorded from playing in Juarez!!! Why not right?
Bring back some ladies and some dope forrate Geese. I shouldn’t have read that post about the next-gen Neo-Geo, I bet it would’ve killed and changed 2d/3d fighters today. If SNK or Sega all of the sudden made a new console, I’d get both of them on day fuckin’ one.
EVO2k7 vids are coming up next…hold your horses…we aint releasing them back to back to back like that…I want some time in between…short as it may be but some time in between…after all you all gotta admit…UHK got those vids up pretty damn fast…
I havent even had time to contact EP yet…but before the EVO 2k7 footage starts going up then I will start contacting him.
It seems like Ben Herman is sweeping responsibility for the Card Fighters DS debacle under the rug.
There was really no excuse for that…that game, more than any other, had the greatest chance of mainstream success of any of Playmore’s game since their inception and they fucking blew it.
He even unintentionally admits that they had no time to test the game because obviously the bug testing team never even had a chance to play far enough to Level 9 in New Game+, which something I accomplished in less than 20 hours.
i always thought snk playmore usa was incompetent. their ports on the xbox sucked. they couldn’t program rebout 94 and neowave for american ps2 and those were canceled. metal slug anthology on the psp had load times when there shouldn’t any load times and the card fighters ds thing. i just hope they port ngbc and kof xi right. how hard can it be to port the games over so they can be played on american systems? and they need to port over ff battle archives 2.
Keits- Yeah that Mudman avatar caught me by surprise when saw it…but hey its WORLD HEROES lol.
Hammer Frenzy- You are forgetting something in between that combo…this qcb+C in between the St.C to cr. C.
TornadoFlame- They are very good…my best competition…but they will soon go down…In Vegas they wouldve met their match in KOFXI via either Guero, Pepe, Realkim, or Mago and Kindevu…for sure. In nGBC its time for me to show them just how much levelling up I’ve been doing lately…
You are bullshitting with the law thing. That would be one of the strangest laws ever, since you could start selling I Love Lucy DVDs or whatever as long as the rightful owners arent.
And if a lot of people play burnt MvC2s thats their problem, their crime. Just because a few people are commiting a crime theres no reason for all of us to do so, especially for tournaments.
The fact of the matter is that tourneys are really good for the manufacturers and their brands, so just asking nicely is a viable option. I just dont think that defending piracy is the right way to go about anything fighting game related. This can probably warrant a ban here too, so lets keep it legal, please. The SNK scene has enough problems as it is.
Who’s saying that the players will sell the SNK games? We are talkin about personal use here. If you want to buy something, but this thing is no longer manufactured and it is not for sale anymore in the commom market, there’s no problem to use it, at least for personal use.
Let’s pick for example the Dreamcast. Let’s say that I want a new Dreeamcast. “Oh shi, I want a DC, but Sega doesn’t manufacture and not sell it anymore, what should I do?”
Do you think Sega will manufacture just 1 DC to sell me?
Same about all the old systems out there. It may be not a legal law saying that is ok to emulate old systems, but in the commom sense, you will not be arrested for play old games, if you are not using it for commercial purposes .
There is a law about abandonware, it’s somewhat similar to the law regarding copyrights. You know how something seventy years after the creator’s death becomes public domain? (There are ways to get around this for certain things, like trademarks, but this is how other people can write about Dracula, or how something like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen can exist (which which because of differing laws in europe kept Sherlock Holmes from being a character that can be used as he isn’t public domain there quite yet) though I don’t know the amount of time that has to pass before the law allows consoles to be hacked/emulated. That is something that would need to be looked up.
