Ok a few things need to be cleared up about the European Scene. Firstly Absolution was not the last major european event, don’t listen to abhi, he has no idea what he is talking about, he never shows up to any events. I can honestly say i don’t know a single person who even likes the guy. He probably made it sound like all our events are like sessions round someones house  And in absolutely no way does he represent the UK or Europe when it comes to fighting games or anything else.
Anyway back to Europe
UK
We had Super vs Battle back in January, over 200 players turned up over the 2 days to enter the tournaments and play casually.
We have had smaller events this year aswell, Fighters Day 3, Rebirth and Summer Shodown, which all had 100-150 players. In a week and half our next event takes place, Iron Man, where we expect a similar turnout.
We also have ranking battles seasons underway.
Kof2002, 3s, hsf2, t5dr, a3, ggac
The UK scene is very much alive.
France
SWGA E-Games Festival
Nuff said.
And france has also has Stunfest and CTPL which are also big
Sure there hasn’t be been anything as big as Absolution, but that had huge prize money compared to what we can do now, and also had a fair few top japanese players, including Daigo, Ino, Kuni, RF, Izu, Chikyuu, Bas and Kiyo.
