January 10th…Demo
In b4 a wild Griffith and Zodd appears.
getting the demo first thing in the morning :3 can’t wait
I cant wait either. Going to go hard in the demo.
Nice, will be scoopin.
For some time I felt that this game is 10 years too late; if it were released during the PS2 and X-Box era it might’ve been more well recieved.
Some of the impressions on the demo-

Mind you; I’m of the mindset that demos aren’t always a good indication of how the game would play or offer very little of what the actual game offers (eg Yakuza and Rayman Origins demos)…still I’ll prob. get this used/price drop >_<
That’s disappointing as fuck.
Well here’s hoping Asura makes it into Super Ultimate Clash of the Universes MVC3.
IMO they should’ve stated from the start that the game would be an interactive sort of game.
…and now I’m seeing mention of Heavy Rain on NeoGAF…
Damn, that killed my hype quicker than anything else. That’s a fucking shame. It looked like it could, at the very least, moonlight as a competent action game. What happened with this being Japanese God Of War? lol
Fears about Asura’s Wrath seem to be coming true. All the most epic things we’ve seen were always QTEs.
ewwwww…those demo impressions. Well…at least it’ll probably be a fun rental. I’m still eager to see what other crazy over the top shit CC comes up with.
Damn, dem impressions is killing it for me a bit. :shake:
Is it because Capcom and/or CC2 thought that their core audience sucks at video games that the game is assumingly QTE heavy?
I don’t think so…like I said (and linked in my previous post), it could be they wanted to make it an interactive game ala Heavy Rain
I was being somewhat sarcastic, but thanks for the notice.
I wonder if spamming CC2’s Facebook page for a DLC mode of sorts where we just beat the shit out of fodder, like those “marathon” stages in Onimusha and Devil May Cry (Forgot what they were called, sorry. If you know what I’m talking about, props to you, if not, again sorry. :x).
Haha I was right in thinking this is how Japan makes a Heavy Rain.
I honestly don’t have anything against them making an interactive game…just…mention it to begin with =V
EDIT: Was chatting with a friend and told me he palyed a build/demo of the game that had some more combat ala GoW…but the QTEs were still there =P
Japanese Heavy Rain…
I’m gonna go cry now. They said I could punch big Buddha bellies. Why they no let me?
Wellllll to kinda be fair…The first trailer showed a QTE sequence in it…God of War doesn’t even do that. Heavy Rain is probably going a bit too far for this game though considering just about everything you did in that game was a QTE sequence besides walking around. You’re still going to be punching people in the face to get to that rage mode. God of War is probably still the closest comparison of this game, it’s just going to be more QTE based.
lol-
Some others have tried the demo and liked it; I’ll still prob. get it on a price drop though. I don’t mind that it’s an interactive type of game (also sorry for linking mostly to NeoGAF ^_^; )
Pretty disappointed. I totally thought it was going to be a flat-out action game like the DMC series.
