I played Asuka in tekken as my main or maybe my only character. As of now I have mixed feelings about her in this game but they’re mostly on the positive side, haha. I’ve started uploading matches of my asuka/chun play and for now, I’m using asuka first just to get completely use to her in this game then later I’ll start with chun.

Here’s a look at what I’ve got going with my Juri/Asuka squad. It’s a bit repetitious but I wanted to show the damage potential off alot of different situations and confirms.

Nice video brah. Question about the two down foward sweeps. Are you CADC’ing backwards after the two down foward sweeps or is it just a standard backdash?
I’ve considered using Chun-li alongside Asuka too. That video may have convinced me.
I’ve been using Juri up until now and I used her in SFIV, but I never really was very good with her.
Posted my thanks on YT but in order to make sure you see it cause it’ll help you out, you can add c.HK after almost every one of those combos leading into Oniku. It’s part of her standard juggle combo and gives hard knockdown instead of techable, which is pretty big for Asuka.

How the heck is the super connecting in the third combo? The third hit of the super whiffs every time for me.
Actually I think her super is just entirely useless in general. I can’t get it to connect off of a juggle at all, and any ground combo that uses it ends up being less damaging than her meterless stuff.
The Low Forward is connecting it, so it’s stupid low to the ground. But low enough just for the whole Super Art to hit.
I’m hitting the low forward as late as possible and the third hit of the super is whiffing. Does it only work on certain characters? Or does the low forward have to hit on the last possible frame? Either way, that can’t be practical.
I wouldn’t sweat it anyways, I mean 430 meterless or 500 or two bars… seems like a meh use of meter. I would rather save for EX moves.
You have to delay the activation of the super slightly. If you super cancel the c.MK the instant it hits, the super will whiff.
I’m beginning to wonder if Asuka’s Super is really all that useful. It’s flashy, but the difference in damage that it makes in comparison to her fairly easy to execute BnB combo would only be useful to squeak out that bit of life at the end of a match. The meter seems to be better used for AA grabs or with another character.
