Assault on San Bernardino - Dec 2

As much as I’m enjoying the beatdown here, the fact that everyone’s still talking about gun control is a truly a testament to the importance of framing the narrative.

  1. Terrorist attack happens.
  2. Before anyone has a chance to identity the attack as a terrorist one, Obezzy and his pals in the Liberal Media jump on the topic as a gun control one.
  3. Starts a long debate about gun control.
  4. Meanwhile everyday people, who are scared about more terror attacks go out and buy guns to protect themselves. Then they get really confused when they realise the national conversation is still about gun control rather than how the Federal Government can make them feel safer so they don’t feel that they need guns to protect themselves.
  5. Donald Trump says some outrageous BS about banning Muslims. Everyday people who are sick about listening to a debate about control when all they really want is some assurance of safety find that Trump’s message resonates with them the most.
  6. Obezzy and Liberal Media get to deflect even further by moving the national narrative to Trump being a bigot.

Sounds like a win-win for Obezzy and Trump who get all their rhetorical shots in. Meanwhile, no actual substantive debate on making people feel safer actually happens.

America- your media is free, but it most certainly isn’t independent.

I know. That’s kinda my point. As I said originally, you (the UK) never really had a problem anyway, and your laws didn’t stop shit from happening.

Same county, same religion:

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Muslim man on Monday after he allegedly threatened to kill his neighbor with a sword.

Mohamed Ahmed Elrawi, 57, of Victorville, California, allegedly screamed, “I die and kill for Allahu!” during an altercation. Authorities said Elrawi was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after chasing a man in his apartment complex.

“A Quran and other items were located inside the suspect’s residence, leading investigators to believe Elrawi may have been a radicalized Muslim,” Sgt. Dave Burgess told the Daily Press on Tuesday.

Witness Mark Tashamneh, 50, told the newspaper Elrawi was threatening neighbors earlier in the evening prior to his arrest. The suspect accused Tashamneh of calling the cops and allegedly said he would kill him after getting out of jail.

“I’m a Christian, I’m happy, said Tashamneh. “I believe what I believe. I am not against what he believes, but he apparently has a problem with me and came and threatened me.”

Another neighbor, 25-year-old Yolanda Goring, corroborated Tashamneh’s story.

“My kids were sleeping when I heard a lot of noise,” Gorning told the newspaper. “I went outside and saw that [Elrawi] had a big sword that he was swinging back and forth. I went back inside but I could still hear yelling and arguing and I heard [Elrawi] telling someone that he was going to kill him.”

Sgt. Burgess said Monday that he did not know if the FBI had been contacted.

Elrawi’s arrest comes just one week after the San Bernardino terror attack at the Inland Regional Center, which killed 14 and wounded 21.

Islamic terrorists Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and his wife Tashfeen Malik, 27, went on a rampage Dec. 2 before dying in a shootout with police.

Damn, what is this country coming to when you can’t even have an honorable duel to the death in an apartment complex anymore?

So we should ban swords

My grandpa went to a memorial service for one of the victims today. Very sad.

At the same time, people that usually call for gun control offer no real solutions either. It’s always " SOMETHING needs to be done!", but no one has a real solution to the situation. Everyone just blows hot air and nothing gets done. Case in point, there are a lot of laws in place that prevent the purchase of fully automatic weapons, but a large majority of public, mass shootings use a variety of very legal hand guns. In this case, illegal weapons are not the problem, but legal ones. Stricter gun laws have done nothing to circumvent shootings involving legal to own hand guns. There have been shootings in which laws have done nothing to prevent guns in the hands of the shooters because they illegally obtained their guns.

It’s a very complicated situation with no easy answer. Cracking down on already illegal guns has good intentions, but really it does nothing to solve the problem of hand guns doing a majority of the work in public mass shootings. Is the solution to ban ALL guns? Logistically, this is likely impossible due to the amount of guns in the US.

Some people would say “well at least we tried” is good enough, but if all you do is blow hot air and nothing changes, then you just wasted EVERYONE’S time. Self-gratifying pats on the back don’t prevent crime.

I agree something needs to be done, but what is the question. There is no easy answer.

Looks like the state let them slip through the cracks.

So, does that mean shooting someone is a “Macro-aggression,” as opposed to a Micro-aggression?

Soviet showing his shit comprehension.
Here are my quotes again, and please get somebody to read for you because god damn are you that stupid in reading.

No i didn’t. I’ve made it clear, even from the first thread that banning will not stop mass murders. I’ve said it repeatedly.

No. People just want guns banned because we are sick and tired of hearing about mass shootings

Since you are an idiot and have a reading ability of a 3rd grader, you can see two different verbs. “Shootings” and “Murders”, “shootings are more specific” while “murders” are more in general. I think that should be simple to understand but since you are the same guy who just wants to side against anybody against me and also the same guy who would argue and bring in links that state he is wrong and yet celebrates thinking they are supportive references, and then go tag in modes like a bitch… how can i still be surprised. These SRK new school peeps are the worst, a bunch of nut jobbing douche bags who only became verbal because of the people who flamed him left the site, this soviet is definitely the worst, the rest weren’t as dumb; and they actually could read.
