What is more gross about carpet than rugs? Nobody actually takes their rugs places to get cleaned, it’s all just vacuumed at best.

What is gross about carpet is what’s underneath it. If you’ve ever taken up an old carpet before, you would probably be less enthusiastic about it…you have to wear a mask because of how much dirt, dust and crap is under there that shouldn’t be in your lungs. Plus all the spills you ever have on a carpet gets absorbed into the underpadding which is just…RANK if it’s been there for years.
Plus you can take a throw rug up, hang it over a railing and beat it out and it’ll be good as new.

Carpet actually gained popularity in the 1920’s when looms were able to work in mass production and vacuums became readily available/affordable. The “distopian housing” movement I assume is a reference to tract housing which began post WWII when housing sales went through the roof after an almost complete freeze in the housing market during the war.

Maybe they’ve bought into the ‘black men have big dicks’ hype, and they want to see porn with huge cocks (no homo), or because it helps them avoid comparing themselves against the men.
