laugh said that on normal speed, cvs2 skips every 5th frame. There is 1 frame to roll on wakeup to avoid a currently active hitbox or hitting frame of a move (i think). so is it possible that the wakeup roll frame is skipped making a wakeup rc impossible?

You have two frames to perform a reversal, the frame just before the one where youāre actually up, and the frame youāre actually up. Rolls can be reversalād. So even if the fast speed eats a frame, youāve still got a frame to reversal. Granted, it can mess with your timing, since you need to be on the frame, but eh.
I wake up RC somewhat consistently and the reversal message comes up. You can even do a regular roll on wake up and youāll see the reversal message

Or maybe you could experiment and use your brain a little more and realize that c. jab (which is as fast as the close s. short), s. strong xx HCB+short also combos, knocks down, and does a hefty amount of stun, while still being able to stop on a move that is completely safe on block (s. strong).

Not really. I merely asked for teams that I could try out for the hell of it. I mean other people have team ideas that others donāt think of. So whats the harm of that.
What I find sad is that people who have the game at home ask for strats instead of trying shit on their own.

kcxjā¦i know weve had some tension, but with geese i do hit confirm close s.lk, c.mk xx lk jaiken. the c.mk leaves you to do pretty much anything you want after, and is completely safe.
Why even bother with that? You risk getting a blocked forward Jaiken, and itās harder to do then c. jab/s. short, s. strong xx short Jaiken.

dude did u even read what i said? the hold down mk to prevent negative edge is pretty much a given⦠s.mp doesnt leave you in as good a position as c.mk, and it doesnt hit low like c.mk. s.lk is 2 frames and gives +7. s.lk to c.mk is at least a 3 frame linkā¦very doable.
If he jumps a lot, try to ambush him in the corner, and before he jumps, land a s.LP, bloking his jump. And get good characters with good normal anti-airs, as Dhalsims b.MP or Balrogs c.HP. If you are fast enough, get Sagat and punish him with uppercuts. If he jump a lot as you said, then, he is dead.
If he turtle and poke when losing, try to poke him and break his guard, prepare a good special for him. Better, try to be in advantage, making him open his guard, not turtle. If he is in advantage and is running, he is Smart, becarefull, maybe he is waiting for you to open the guard. Who is winning doesnt need to attack, remember.
Red impact: Sorry, that super is really great! Try to JD that if you like K groove. Or parry.
If he doesnt roll cancel, pressure on him, it is more difficulty to evade some attacks just rolling or trading hits.
If he throws a lot, be smart and make get him first or just tech hit.
If he moves around all the time, I think it is better to have quick characters as cammy, or Sagat and Blanka because they control the space very well.
If he gets any order, it is because he dont care about the opponent order, it is because he has a good variation and will not let you guess the order of characters. It is a problem when you try to get counter characters. Place the best character in second, so, you might be able to get that Vega, even he is last in the order.
I think your A-groove is good. If he jumps a lot, try the activation when he attacks. Ioris c.HP have huge hit box, making it impossible to change sides with you, and have good priority. When he jumps, prepare a Electric ball of blanka for him. You will have this protection 2 time, and he will not jump on you anymore.
My advices should be usefull only if your opponent is static, because if he is smart, he will have all the counter strategy waiting for you.
By the way, if you need help and dont know how to beat his team, dont call it cheap-ass.
It sounds like your major problem is lack of punching. Punching counters about 80% of what you listed there. the rest is blocking.

And Blanka and Sagat (that also have good Punches), I said that they control the space very well, and Cammy is Speedy. It is to counter Vega abusive movements.
I was wondering if low jump mk after a knockdown is good? I tried to use it as a cross up but itās really hard to combo. Iām guessing you could do lj.mk, Deadly Rave? Also I have a bad habit of trying to land raging storms. Itās just so cool but itās hard to land. I had to overcome this habit and now I just use deadly rave.
