You shouldn’t be pressing the 3 buttons, there is no need to do the neutral edge technique since it’s not a link, it’s a cancel. Just do the motion faster (and completely as epsilon said).
i still have problems doing the f+rh overhead, super link. do you guys do the motion after the animation ends or during the overhead’s animation? i have done it just a couple of times.
c.rh x dp x ex dp
:lol:
i love your random posts, Jay.
:rock:
you really should always be pianoing when comboing into a super, be it link or cancel. but also, make sure when you piano you get 3 individual inputs, instead of all 3 at once. as for the f+rh into super, i cant really describe the timing, it’s like ken’s back+mk into sa3, but i doubt that helps.
How do you beat a lame ass necro that does hcf lp all day long?
red parry. no, seriously. red parrying > necros hooks. its not hard either, even the jab version. free s.hk xx ex mgb combos.
alright, I saw some video of chun vs dud (victo, can’t get enough of us uber dudley…) anyway it was ex-MGB then cr. roundhouse then strong uppercut?? wtf? I can’t get the cr.rh to connect after the mgb… do I need to take a step forward or something? o.o this was midscreen btw.
anyway, the combo was on his requiem video (which kicks ass)
also, wtf is the timing on jab mgb’s in the corner? I heard this only works on shotos… i’ve gotten 2 to connect before but that was a freak accident.
Thanks =)
the combo is s.rh xx ex mgb, c.rh, dash fierce dp. and yes you do have to take a step forward, that combo is for flashy purposes, it actually does less damage/stun than the f+mk xx 2 hit dp ender, and gives the same positioning.
there is no real way to explain the timing, but its different on certain groups of characters, and on other characters its pointless and too difficult to connect consistantly for the amount of damage it does. i never do more than one, because if you messup you sacrifice the ender.
Sweet epsilon, thanks for the info
:tup:
goddamn showoffs…
Its all about style yo.
agreed :lol:.
that is, 'til you kick yourself for missing a finisher 'cuz you wanted to be flashy when you coulda gone for the tried, tested and true.
when the match is on the line (or just about anytime, since it’s a good habit to get into), just go for something that’s simple. after EX MGB, the finishers all have very similar damage, so it’s not a huge deal if you say, finish a midscreen EX MGB combo with forward Ducking Uppercut instead of twds + forward x fierce Jet Uppercut.

True
another question… when i watch videos of good dudley players it seems as if they can hit confirm the roundhouse into the EX MGB. How do they do that? do they do it like other hit confirms moves? such as doing a half circle after the roundhouse everytime? even so… it seem very difficult. I can do ken’s medium punch hit confirm into a super with a breeze but i cant seem to get this roundhouse into EX MGB.
it’s not hit confirming, really.
it’s kinda like option selecting.
since s. roundhouse into EX MGB is a cancel, there is no room for seeing whether your s. roundhouse hit or not.
what happens is that Dudley’s boxing glove hits the limb of some poor fella and it cancels into EX MGB.
the way you do it is to hit s. roundhouse buffer the motion for EX MGB reallyreallyreally fast. if you don’t hit anything, nothing comes out. if you hit something, EX MGB comes out. it’s such a fun thing :lol:.
situations where this works wonders is when opponents dash in on you or if they’re whiffing pokes to either hit you from a certain distance or to build meter.
characters this works on best:
the Shotos aren’t really easy to tag with this because their low attacks are what they usually like to use vs. Dudley.
to an extent, Chun-Li can be smacked with this. especially if she’s whiffing s. fierces.
keep practicing!

Thanks for the reply… but wait…
You mean you dont even press the punches?? Just doing the motion alone will make the EX MGB come out? how is this possible? can you elaborate a little more on that? The videos i see where it almost seems as they hit confirm are usually Urien’s limbs and also when shotos dash in lets say after a fireball. Or maybe they are able to see it … i donno. But yea so do you just do the mtion or do you need to press the punches afterwards?
thanks again…
Thanks Kal El. Any more resets that just that one? I don’t think i can pop lots of characters with the 4x cr. rh juggles
d’oh!
i meant that yeah, you do the entire command for EX MGB. motion + punches. if you do it fast enough, nothing will come out if you whiff but as soon as you hit something, EX MGB comes out.
resets into a super i don’t really recommend because your opponent can parry out of it.
if you’re talking about just ending the combo with a normal that does not knock down, then every now and then i’d suggest doing so because you have the potential for even more damage with high/low mixups.
two common examples:
s. roundhouse x EX MGB -> c. roundhouse x 4 -> s. strong x short Ducking Rush (opponent is reset) -> twds + roundhouse -> super
c. roundhouse -> jab MGB -> c. fierce -> c. roundhouse -> jab MGB -> short SSB xx super
for #2, you can even gamble a bit more and opt for another reset instead of finishing with short SSB xx super.
:rock:
really good info kal el …
i could never imagine this to happen lol…
thankz kal , thankz everyone who posts here …
let’s keep the good job
man…did no one read the dudley thread lol? i posted about s.rh xx ex mgb in there to punish limbs. every dudley player should know this, no exceptions.
