Ask me anything about dudley

Mutant XP, advanced advanced necro

Don’t know how he does it, but mutants necro owns me, and just about everyone else i see it face. Few exeptions are tournament qualifying players.

I need any necro advice i can get.

Jump in?

What to do when jumping in?

Standing Range?

How i get in close?

What moves do i look to parry?

dont jump vs necro very often, he has a strong anti air game when played correctly, and alot of times you’ll just be parrying like 50 hits of an electricity, which leaves you back at square one. fight him on the ground with like f+mk, s.rh, c.rh, and c.mp mainly. try to wait for him to make the first move, and focus on building your own meter. watch out for his low hitting command grab type move during footsies. i really dont know too much about this matchup because well, very few people play necro well. just try to work basic mixups on him, and dont get too jumpy, work him to the corner and beat him up. his little snake fang overhead thing is off the ground instantly so meaty him with f+rh or f+mk. try to red parry telegraphed jab hooks. and s.rh should at least deter him from trying to attack you too avidly, as i already assume you know his long range normals can be s.rh xx ex mgbed off. this is good, but you shouldnt rely on it.

Hey epsilon_, sorry if this is a n00b question but here is my situation and sorry if someone has already asked this:

Chun uses her SAII, and you parry the last hit while your in mid screen. You have SAI with one bar. What combo do you use on her?? Everytime I do the simplest most damaging one, (S.HK -> M Jet Upper -> SA I 75 Damage, instead of C.HK x2, duck straight, super cancel 78 Damage) I miss the last half of the super, and sometimes it hits. Is there a way to confirm if it will hit or not by using Foward + MK instead of S.HK,use a LP or HP for his Jet Upper, or just super cancel faster??

Also, what would you do if you had 2 bars on her??

If u are near ur side of the screen, then just go for S.RH ex.mgb, low RH, ducking upper, if u can push her to the corner with the ex.mgb then u go for the L.RH juggles. Dont use the super unless its really worth it, ie. taking the round from Chun and u have no energy left.

If her SA2 push u all the way to the wall, then do S.RH, Short SB, super.

Low RH into ducking straight --> SA1 works as long as ur further away, and didnt land the ducking straight while shes too high up. U need her to be almost on the ground for SA1 not to dig her the wrong way.

Cantonese > Mandarin? ur kiddin right?

Yeah I was wondering about this… Don’t know if it’s the joysticks or what, but I find it a lot easier connecting torward forward into corkscrew on arcade than ps2. Seems that there’s more leeway for inputting the super in arcade than console. For me at least…

inputs are more forgiving on arcade. a lot more when it comes down to dudley.

especially moves like twd+fwd or twd+rh.

How long is Dudley’s penis?
