I’d add an easier way to combo into ultra, or a normal overhead (fast, frame advantage on hit).
(Just thinking about a fadc into full U1 gives me a boner… KOKO GA KISAMA NO HAKABA DAAAA!!!)

I only recently discovered that the strength of headstomp you use (short/fwd/roundhouse) affects the properties of the move. With that said, do you use one strength rather than another in any situations, or is this something you dont fuck with at all?
p.s., for those of you who didn’t see my post in the Fundamentals thread, the strength of headstomp you use affects how far you can bounce off of your opponent’s head (short being the least distance, roundhouse being the most).

What I meant to say is properly spaced OS lp crusher lands on block at zero frames if chun wake up backdashes.Also using OS ex scissor you can tag her wake up backdash and make other moves from other characters whiff. Lets take for example ,wake up messiah.You just go through the messiah to the other side of the screen.Both OS depends on the spacing of the Bison’s cr.short on the opposing characters wake up.
KIM: Trying to work on going air to air more. Any general recommendations? I’m having trouble discerning between neutral jump forward and neutral jump roundhouse. I’ve been doing forward where I should be doing roundhouse, but I’m not exactly sure when/how I should be using my neutral jump forward attack overall.
any advice on going air to air with forward jumping moves as well? It seems like Bison’s floaty ass jump would prevent him from going air to air well, but chun li is really really good at it, and she floats more I think. Is it Bison’s jumping normals, their angles etc. or is it my reaction, because I feel like I get beat out way too often when I go by reaction and looking at replays I react pretty quickly, jumping up to challenge them air to air almost immediately after they jump, but I get beat out a lot overall, mostly by Chun and Ryu/Ken/Akuma which is almost consistent.

Chun is good at it because her jumping normals are a lot better hitbox wise than Bison’s are her’s might be faster on the startup too, not sure there. Same with the shotos.
Though maybe kim knows something I don’t. I know I would love to be able to beat Ryu’s j.mp or j.rh air to air, I just don’t think you can.
I use ex psycho or low fierce to beat shoto jump ins
Chun Vs bison is kinda lame. I think it’s because her jump angle is more diagonal while bison’s is more of like a rainbow. Chun seems to be able to air to air bison no matter if he jumps first or later
I don’t know though if that means her jump is better overall Vs other characters

She beats Dic’s air moves because all of her air moves come out 3-4 frames faster than his.

Also, is Guile’s airthrow instant startup? Holy shit that needs nerfing.
The range is also ridiculous as well and big hit box. Once that little blue grab hitbox touches even a pixel of the vulnerable hit box on you… SCOOPZZZZZZZZZZ

He has around ~1.25 range on his air throw. It comes out on the 3rd frame, and there ain’t much you can do about that except popping your move earlier (it’s easy, since Guile will only try to throw you when you get in range…). Basically, if you use an air move with enough distance between the blue lined box (throwable hurtbox), and the tip of the damage hitbox, you’ll be able to hit guile with your airmove, and not get thrown.
Like I said, Guile will only use it in an instant. He has to get in range, and it only stays out for 2 frames (not exactly that active).
You’ll get thrown if you’re predictable, or if you whiff an airmove. But it’s easy to stuff an air throw with certain jump moves.
Test it out in training mode. Horizontal range is your friend
TUC was 5 times better then Kuma

Damm sent too fast. is there a reason why jumping roundhouse jump ins are hardly used. just started playn’ Bison 5 months ago and everyone seems to only jump in with forward or fierce. roundhouse that junk or the situation where it needs to be used rarely ever comes up?
