Yeah, I saw a stat recently that said something like 40% of black woman are HIV+ or something disgusting like that.
Kids are for life man. You never ever forget them. I think people forget just how long life can be.

The point of my post is 40% of women who are black do not have AIDS. And spreading a mistruth like that is very irresponsible, to say the least.
You (and I guess Jodo) can’t really prove that, so what is the point of even arguing about it? Even if the 40% isn’t true what Troy states is still alarming news.
Honestly that stat doesn’t surprise me, and it shouldn’t surprise anyone, but it’s not just targeted towards black people. Look at what was said in regards to the youth of america and having that “feeling of invincibility” because HIV/AIDS isn’t talked about as much as it was to us when we were teenagers/or kids back in the 90’s. Outta sight outta mind imo.
But let’s get off this subject and let’s keep the gay questions coming! Surely you guys haven’t ran out yet!
you’re right. but the number 40 comes from a stat that says, per capita (so for every 100,000) in america, there are 40 black women with AIDS which is highest of any race when it comes to females.

I don’t think this is the source that I read previously, so it’s possibly I remembered my statistic wrong. It’s 50% of people with AIDS according to this, not 50% of black woman have AIDS.
I do apologize for remembering the stat wrong.

(I keed, I keeed. A funny way to interpret that statement out of context lol. In all seriousness, that kind of statistic is obviously ludicrous.)
