After blocking it… Either a st lk or a nearly frame perfect step kick will punish any normal fei tries to do next… Ex COD too…

the match is 3-7… having a bad match vs. Fei is a big reason Abel is not a good tourney char anymore. the twins aren’t getting the play time I thought they would, but a S tier character who looks like Bruce Lee and is easy as shit to play? I haven’t managed to play a tourney without running into a Fei at least once since AE came out
funny, i played 8 games at evo and i didn’t run into Fei… Guess i got lucky 
I had to play DMG Inthul at Evo he was the one who knocked me out. if his flight had been on time, he wouldn’t have started in loser’s bracket and I never would have had to play him and would have made it out. our pool was weak. I got put in loser’s by a bad Chun, I’m still kinda mystified as to how I found a way to lose that one
Nekojita is gdlk, I’m starting to use armor cancels thanks to him. I’m going to try to achieve master status before I leave, hopefully I can do it.

Anyway yeah, ever since I see Nekojita applying armor cancelling in his game (especially against the twins, but not necessarily just against them), Ive been practicing and trying to apply it to my game too. I had good results but still cant be consistent with the execution.
Anything in particular they are doing that they are doing that really stood out to you?
When I decided to get serious in this game I was met with a character who had no resources for him other than a few created by Viscant which while good, are situational. I’ve pretty much been trying to reverse engineer Japanese Blanka by xcopying what I can and also finding out things independently(unblockables, safejumps, option selects, kara throw setups, mixups etc.) The thing is that even when I watch Japanese Blankas outside of a very few(Nishkin, Taku, Chari), they aren’t doing anything that astounds me other than maybe executionally.
It makes me mad that people don’t use his high level stuff for no particular reason.

Strider have you taken on Itabashi or any other Giefs there I’m curious and how does there level compare to American ones?
He doesnt have wifi all the the time suprisingly there arent that many spots in japan. The giefs over here besides vance are ass compared to the ones over there. After playing itabashi and cantona and watching strider play itabashi that shit looks impossible for abel.
