Strider any advice for someone just starting out as Abel? I have mained Balrog since Super and am finding it difficult to switch. Been in training mode quite a bit practicing his combos, but still having issues due to his slow normals (Balrog’s cr. jab was my crutch). Any advice is much appreciated, and keep up the good work man.

I saw rico in his pools… He was using the sweep technology against a Rufus player!
Evo was fun, getting bodied by infiltration in pools wasn’t. That dude is way too solid.
I wish I would’ve played more people, but I was too busy getting bodied by alcohol and winning blackjack with mike chow.
Also regarding step-kick into sweep, I wouldn’t recommend abusing it since it does lose to Rufus’ most used option, which is instant dive kick.

hey guys im having trouble on people using air tatsu on my wakeup, i usually ex roll out of it but half the time i need to block and i dont have the reaction to block what can i do?
Learn to block, there’s no shortcut for that

I have watched some videos and seen you perform FA. Light roll which makes you transfer sides and then immediately roll again then f+mk on the second roll is it medium or fierce.
Also I have read that one you get in on sim the match drastically changes in your favor however at my level ever sim teleports and I have to work all over again.
Its RH roll, its to bait buttons or throws and get full punish with step kick.
As far as Sim goes… Just dash up and punish his teleport on reaction, or even better…walk. If he back dashes or teleports you have enough time to walk forward and punish with step kick, its pretty sad actually…

yeah, one of my standard setup is
falling sky, lk roll, cr.lp, hk roll. other options after the cr.lp can be st.hk or TT or anything meaty really.
