Yeah do something similiar to Guilty gear, just have them become transparent when characters are behind them.

Maybe not full character bios, but I’d like to hear any parts that talk about their combat abilities and powers. Especially the Summoner characters, as I’m still wondering exactly what they summon. I believe an example earlier in the thread mentioned a character that summons a murder of crows, and that made me curious as to whether Summoners might only call upon “swarms” of small creatures, or if other Summoners might have a smaller group of two or three creatures, or one large summon.
I’ll share details on the summoners once I get off work. but here is an update of the first 3D character.
XBox One only is FAIL.
PC, first to do a demo, then if we get funds move to the plateforms we are able. I’ve dreamed of xbox, but with enough funds will do playstation as well.
I would imagine since this being an indie game PS3/PS4 would be the desirable choice what with Sony’s more lax indie policy. But it’s not my game so you guys go ahead and work for whatever you want to work for.
well right now I just want to make the best game possible. If our pc demo looks good and is fun, I will happily port it to whatever console possible.
After careful thought we will be getting rid of the special meter. I will do another right up of our fixed mechanics as well as some concept sketches.

The long description of our story
It is the year 3000 and the world is not as it was. A last ditch effort to halt the technological suffocation of the planet has backfired and instead created a forested world of danger. In its last great strong hold, the Holy City of Cinco, humanity is but a shadow of its former self. It clings to existence against the ever present threat of the Forest.
Within the Holy City of Cinco two Archbishops fight for power and influence: One representing the future of what is left of humanity, the other harbors a dark secret and even darker agenda. Both will use The Bisai of Ferox* as a chance to clinch a final victory. The Bisai of Ferox is a series of battles held every generation within the Holy City of Cinco between Humanity and The Forest Dwellers. The Bisai of Ferox has come again.
This is the world of Ascension X.
Players fight each other, or the computer, in an attempt to break the will of the opposing faction and in the process discover secrets thought lost to time. Players can choose to further explore the story with one of fifteen characters, or they may create their own character with their own nuanced fighting style.
Custom characters tend to be the only ones worth using if allowed in competitive/online play. I’d advise against letting custom characters be used outside of story mode, if possible.
Let custom characters be used outside of story mode, just have it be easy to filter it so people can choose to play with or without them.
well I was thinking of having a normal online fighting game with a normal mode and an s class mode. where u can play with your custom characters. So in the normal ranked mode you only have the original roaster.
Is there any gameplay footage ?
We have test footage that’s not ready to be released. We are working hard to have solid gameplay by the middle of November.
