My Pro Photobucket went out during EVO.
I renew now.
There goes $39.90 for two years Photobucket Pro.
So today while doing some work on the case I realized that the top panel has a surprisingly large warp near the front. I took some pictures to try and illustrate whats going on
Hereās where the warp is, the top front panel. as you can see a CD drops in that far

But if I swing around the front and try it, no dice

I dont think this was here when I first assembled it, as I probably wouldāve caught it. Is this a common thing or did something happen to mine? Its never left the house or really the small table I play on or my bed.
This hasnāt happened to me but I read the acrylic has a natural warp over time. Try unscrewing the piece that is warped & then put it back on, should solve the problem.
That was the first thing i did, but it didnt help. It seems like the piece itself has a dramatic warp
I finally was able to complete my stick after a number of months, here is the result:

I hope you like my wiring.

anyone know what size spacers these are, or where to find them easily?
edit: they are the ones seperating the cthulhu from the pcb holder at 4:51
Wow, that custom Hello Kitty case would make my girlfriend go bananaās if she saw me playing on that thing, I want it!!!
Iām more excited to get my tek case than my birthday and Christmas combined. Once that thing arrives Iām going to clutch it against my chest and run as fast as possible up to my room and proceed to lock myself in there, call work, tell um to f off somewhere, turn off my phone and not come out till dec 22 2012. According to the Mayans thats when the new fighting game champ arises from the Ashes to son the competition with 8 buttons.
Iām having an issue with my 30mm sanwa snap in buttons. I canāt get them down all the way through. Do I need to shave those tabs off?
Tek-Innovations has a page specifically mentioning that the nubs are to be shaven.
That is how to get your Sanwa OBSF-30 to fit.
I plan on using 24mm sanwa snap ins⦠Am i going to have to shave them? Hard to find the page youāre speaking of on my phone
I shaved off the taps and no luck. I also have plexi cover, artwork, then top panel. When I take off the plexi cover and artwork it fits but not by much. Are screw buttons supposed to be used when thereās that much thickness?
But now you are able to get the Buttons down flat, right?
http://www.slagcoin.com/joystick/attributes_brands.html#BUTTON_CHART
With the 1/8" plexi panel and the probably 1/16" plexi artwork cover, you come in at around 4.8mm (without artwork!) when the max is 4.2mm. Time for screw ins.
If it does not click, at least it is flat though, right?
Iām more concerned if I have his Buttons laying flat or not.
Because he come to this Thread saying he cannot get the Buttons all the way down.
Tested it out and they slowly raise up after a little play. I think Iāll go ahead and just get some screw ins. No big deal. Thanks for the help. I was planning on buying more buttons anyway when focus attack restocks(this weekend anyway I think).
Do the snap inās work okay on the side/back panels?
The 24mm snap ins on side of mine were fine. But I didnāt have any additional artwork or covers. Just plain white acrylic.
