Art's Hobbies - DIY Acrylic Cases

Thanks Art!

Got mine over the weekend and finally got everything assembled today. VERY pleased with the quality! I never heard back from you about an email changing the cut so I had my fingers crossed but looks like it didn’t make it in time, oh well, just have a hole cover where it is, so no worries.

Will definitely be ordering some artwork once I decide on a design!

I ordered a TEK case B With side art and top art Im wondering should I Add the **Novus 1 and Microfiber Bundle **
with it For plastic cleaning ? Does it really get that Dirty that fast or can I manage without since I have full artwork coverage
Ill make sure i post pictures here once i get it :3

I Really Hope my Diamond joints will be fine to ><

Would just like to say for the record what a good guy Art is. I ordered 5 different things from him a few weeks ago, not only did they arrive today in beautiful shape but he even refunded me some of the shipping charges when he saw that everything would fit in one box. This is my new 6 button blue panel replacement plexi with clear stick mount. Couldn’t be more pleased. I know for some the wait is agonizing but trust me, it’s well worth it. Thanks Art.

Woke up to the ship notification email today on a full Tek-B case ordered on the 26th. Within the 14 day window (8 full business days, 13 calendar), and very reasonable time frame considering the size of his operation. Very excited.

Mine looks the same as yours but hitbox style with clear sumitsu buttons. I am also verry happy with the look.

Apologizes if this has already been asked or answered - but will you ever be offering a black acrylic style cover for the Hori V3/VX model?

Hey Art!

Sorry it’s been so long lol. I was wondering if you were still cool with this? I am wanting to get Toodles new TE Kitty Kit to mod my old SE (SE size is too small for me), but it requires the Turbo area still.

Hope everything has been well!

That looks awesome! Do you mind sharing which configurations you chose (what color were sides, Etc)? I’d personally do purple for mine where you have red (purples my favorite lol), but I love the design of it! Fantastic case!

No I don’t mind at all. It’s a S1-A case. All sides are red mirror with the reflective sides turned inward. To cover up the gross looking silver backing on the mirror plexi I ordered the S1 panels in black for all sides and the bottom. If you’re looking at the case from the side or bottom you would assume that the case was black throughout until you looked from the top.

The only other thing I’d change is make the bottom interior border red mirror to help reflect some light to the inside of the case. It would also make the case look like it had a larger interior than it really does.

If you have anymore questions feel free to PM me

Awesome! What I am thinking is mirror purple bottom, left, right, bottom side, clear front side (so mirror purple nameplate can be seen), mirror purple bottom boarder, black top boarder, clear top. The only thing for me though is I’d need a type B for sure because I hit my buttons hard >_<. Thanks for the info!

Cool just be careful with that name plate, one side will be mirror the other will be grey, so you’ll be able to see that side from the top.

So are the backs of all the mirror plexi sheets grey? Or only the name plate?

Anyone know if Art is going to do Plexis for the SFxT Pro sticks? Not the ones that connect together, or if he’s got a plexi already that’s compatible with it?

Yea all mirrors have a substrate afixed to the backing of the reflective surface to provide a bit of corrosion and physical protection.

Has anyone tried fitting Art’s Seimitsu button cutouts into the clear Sanwa OBSC-30 buttons?

The paper is too thick.

Sweet! Thanks for the info! As soon as Art gets back to me about my question it looks like I’ll try and order one of these XD

No worries! Glad I was able to help, be sure you post a pic in here when you’re all finished.

Just to be clear, the cutouts are greater in diameter than the inside of the plungers?
