I wanted to give props to ArtHong’s work, too!
I bought an 8-button Tekken 5 acrylinc plexiglass plate from him a few weeks and just installed it yesterday after I got done with my second T5 mod.
There’s no question the plexi enhances the look of the art and makes the stick faceplate look that much classier.
Now all I did with my art was find a nice huge image online (it was only 72 dpi but it was a huge 20 X 14 or bigger image), scale it to fit the T5 blank template I found online, print it on laser paper, and then laminate said paper after I cut holes in first and cut off all the excess on the 11 X 14 legal size it was printed on.
The cutting part was definitely the most labor intensive part of all that!
Anyhow, the buttons fit tight on the plexi but they do go through and clamp down nice and the faceplate is held together well. (Prior to installing the buttons, I put double-stick photosafe tape on the back of the artwork, lined the holes up, and then screwew all six hexbolt pins back into the faceplate. After installing the buttons, I took off the hex-pins again.)
After doing up a nice mod, treat yourself and give the stick a nice headboard to enhance it…

The sides are slightly rough cause I didn’t sand it down too much. gives it that matte black which I like

So as many of you already know, the website is back up. Orders started coming in like 30 min after I opened it up… which was around 730am… man, some of you guys were just hovering over all night! Thanks =D.
I’m running on 3hrs of sleep right now so hopefully I’m coherent with my writing. Although the site is up, I couldn’t get everything up as intended. Had internet connection issues over the weekend that negatively impacted my schedule. So I just pushed up everything that was essential. Lots of images and descriptions missing, but for those who are already familiar with my products shouldn’t have much trouble understanding the new setup and options.
For those who are first time visitors, I’m sure there are still a lot of questions, and I will work to get the rest of the details up asap!
Amongst one of the newer implementation is the Artwork Submission section where you can upload your artwork to my site. However, there seems to be some unknown issues with that right now. Some people have been successful with the uploads, some haven’t. I’ll have to double check what the issue may be when I get back home. So if you get an error and you know you shouldn’t, I’ll see if I can find a solution to that by tomorrow. Or if you’re sending a RAR file, try sending it as ZIP and vice versa. A couple ppl have reported that to work.
There’s a lot of text on the site, and I know it’s more than most people want to read, but I strongly recommend the reading for the new options… like how to format your etching image, seeing the available font selections, how text etching may look, etc.
I’ll also be adding the Tag Etchings to the Accessory line. This is purely a side interest thing for those who may want their Gamertag/Handle/Logo/Image etched on an Acrylic Tag/Keychain. Just another option for personalizing.

The artwork cuts all come with seimitsu cutouts for 30mm seimitsu buttons. They are cut a tad bit larger so they fit more snug within the button.

I have an option where you can choose to have only the four corner screws if that interests you. If you really want just 5 screws that can be arranged. And I know how you feel… one of my mid screws had the damn hex nut come right off… damn cheap Madcatz glue.

The problem is I have a ton of orders to tend to and I can’t guarantee when I’ll get to looking at your image for approval. People who have made their orders and submitted their artwork gets priority because I don’t want to keep them waiting any longer than need be. If you have Photoshop, you can download the PSD template for your fightstick to double check your positioning.

Art, I went and tried to add my artwork cut to the cart and recieved an error. I’ve been waiting for a while to do this, don’t mind waiting till you get it up, but I do have a very specific piece of art, and I wanted to see if you had five minutes to look at it before I sent it to make sure everything that I want on the art actually makes it to the artwork. I’m planning on doing a full length plexi so I don’t lose all of the stuff on the sides of the image.
Sure bud. But you’ll have to give me a moment. I’m going to be incredibly swamped tonight, so it may not be until tomorrow that I’ll get a chance to start anything artwork related. Not to mention I’m still running on 3hrs of sleep so I might carry some bad judgement at the moment… lol, “IT NEEDS MORE PURPLE!”
On another note, if you’ve tried submitting your art in RAR and it didn’t work, perhaps try it in ZIP and see… that seems to work for some people. Don’t know if there’s a different RAR format floating around. In any case, try to zip to see if it works. If not, or if you just want to send it to me to check on first, email/link me the RAR file. It’ll also give me a chance to use your same file and see if I can reproduce the upload error.
