Art help please Tekken Style

I really dig the art from Tekken 4’s story mode here’s some examples

I’m guessing it’s done with keeping all the pencils and maybe coloring it in photoshop.

But I can’t replicate it. Anyone got any tips on how it’s done? Or could jot down a quick tutorial for me or something? Any help would be fantastic thanks

hmmm i’m not entirly sure but it looks too me that it’s a drawing that’s been done in pencil/colored pencil then scanned into the comp or something and colored in with airbrush but if the actual line art was done in photoshop i’d say they used some sort of chalk tool…but that’s my best guess try it out who know i might be right lol

draw, scan. Color underneath the lines with low opacity with a a faded brush. Change the color of the linework and walla. they might have burned some of the colors or flattened file.
