Wow, the character development for the females on the show just skyrocketed. I wonder how long Nyssa will stick around, and at what point does her Father step-in to wreck everybody’s shit (including Malcolm).
Probably once Nyssa gets killed. At least I’m betting she takes down Sara’s killer, but ends up with some fatal wound. Then Ra’s will be pissed at Team Arrow and blame them for her death.
…awesome show, but something really bothers me. The entire killer/hero conundrum is really old at this point. For S1 it was interesting, but the entirety of S2 you’ve got dude’s family and friends being laid to waste and he’s still on some “I’m not a killer” stuff? It got to the point where it defied logic and common sense.
“There are 50-100 nearly unstoppable super soldiers murdering innocent people and tearing apart the city - but don’t kill them b/c that’s not the right thing to do.”
Is it really that hard to identify times where lethal force is and isn’t warranted? A guy holding up a store? Sure fine, incapacitate him and move on. A dude has a sword to the neck of someone close to you? Do what you gotta do.
The other thing is kinda the same issue I feel Game of Thrones has working against it, in that people always come within one sentence of avoiding conflict yet they stop short. Not telling Thea everything is certainly keeping her out of a danger right? I mean she’s been kidnapped at least twice and been in some type of danger or another fairly often, however you can’t tell her because it would be dangerous.
I understand the dramatic logic behind it just fine, but seriously the common sense logic is non-existent.
I’m glad I stuck by the show, i’m at episode 16 of season 2 and shit is starting to get real. I really like that a lot of actors from Spartacus are on this show, also I recognize a bunch of other actors.
My bet is the Ra’s ordered Sara killed because his daughter is messing up too much over girlfriend shit.
Nyssa has to lead the league for centuries, he probably figures she has to be actually ready, plus there’s the fact that she has to be losing face with her subordinates over their kind dying over some girl.
I also feel that it’s part of an overly-elaborate trap Ra’s is setting up to catch Malcolm. I hope I’m wrong about that.
Oh man, time has come for Daddy Ra’s to step-in to handle business.
I wonder if they’ll bring-up the Lazarus pits and his immortality? They brought Slade’s superhuman abilities to the show somewhat, and The Flash is mostly about powers. It shouldn’t be too much to bring that aspect of Ra’s to the show as well.
