Summer can stick to doing shitty appearances on terrible shows like BBT but she needs to stay away from potential. I’m pretty sure the script for The Cape was decent until she got casted. Then something happened and turned it into the worst show ever. She is the MacBeth of tv.
He makes great things…and they all die within 2 seasons, almost like Summer Glau showing up. Now, you could say “Well, at least he creates great things for a short time” but then there’s the heartbreak when it’s inevitably gone before it’s time and you find yourself with anger you wouldn’t have had if he hadn’t bothered to make the show in the first place.
And yet they still end after two seasons.
Except that you’re suggesting that shows die because Summer Glau happens to work on them, no matter the talent surrounding her or the talent of the writers or the plans of the networks. It’s her, everything she works on dies.
By that rule, no matter the talent surrounding Weisman, no matter the networks, every show he makes also dies quick. If Summer Glau should no longer act because she destroys shows then Weisman should no longer create shows because they never live long enough to matter.

Yeah biggest plot development episode so far in what seems like forever. Pre Island Ollie is so funny to me. He just wants to party and bang chicks all the time compared to Arrow Oliver who is just so serious all the time.
