If this series lasts 3+, I wonder how long theyâll do the island flashbacks. Anybody else getting tired of them? I just want to see when/where he gets his training. The rest of the island story line I donât care about. Who really cares about that missile launcher?
I remember that too. But I think itâs more of an innocent surprise rather than him being attracted to her. Felicity and Ollie love interest is probably in the back of the writerâs mind, but you know heâll probably sleep with a lot of other girls before that. Itâll be a minor arc, not a big love interest to threaten Ollie+Laurel.
Because like I said, Merlyn would be coming after their entire family almost immediately after killing Moira. Ollie probably wouldnât even have a chance to go hood up and come back and save Theaâs ass. Heâd just bumrush the home and take names. And if Ollie isnât able to kill Merlyn then Merlyn would get out likely knowing Ollieâs identity as the Vigilante and all hell would break loose.
As for the Island, Slade is already confirmed as a Series Regular for Season 2 so unless he decides to make an appearance in the present day weâre going to be seeing plenty of the island stuff next season. And itâs pretty obvious that a good amount of his CQC training comes from Slade. His Archery likely comes from Yao Fei so theyâll probably save his ass by the end of this season.

Since itâs flashbacks, we know Ollie doesnât get off the island no matter what. Even if thereâs a fueled jet with the keys in the ignition and an autopilot button heading towards Starling City. To me, itâs not even a âhow is he going to get out of it this time!?â type of feeling because Slade or Yaofei is saving his ass left and right.
