what are A. King’s good punishers and juggles? and what makes those moves good?

Just curious because as a King player, I kinda have to play A. King too, haha. But seriously I used him in TTT a bit, and was curious how he is now.

hopkick as a launcher like every character…
and f+1+4 is a tackle like move for frame/whiff punishing, just don’t get it blocked.

cool, I’ll give him a shot. I played him a couple times in DR back then, but I didn’t get to play DR too much. And since BR is $1.50/game I only ever practice with King, can’t wait to mess around with other characters. A. King, Miguel, Kaz , or Bob (maybe d jin?) are who I’m considering for a second.

Punishers :
f+1+4 (horrible on block as mentioned above)
b+1 ( on CH it gives you a crumple )
3+4 , 2 ( If 3+4 hits 2 is guaranteed)
F+2 , 1 ( a much better choice for punish because you have a chance to block when its blocked or even SS)

couple juggles:
hopkick / palm upper -> df+1, df+1, d+2 bound, dash df+1, f+2,1 / giant swing
hopkick / palm upper -> df+1, df+1, df+2 bound, 3+4,2
hopkick / palm upper -> 1+2,2, d+2 bound, fff+2+4

I like d/b+2,3 for stuffing people when I know they are going to go low.

EDIT are you sure those work because in regard t hit like that two launchers usually make the drop on the opponent lower so that some hits dont work.

I would say for those combos. You should choose either hop or Palm upper and not try both.

Im guessing the first one is a wall splat combo correct? ( make sure you let that be noted Ill try these out)

On the last combo you mean iSW right? ( FFF+3+4)

yeah where I’ve got a slash means either or, not both.

you can do uppercut, uppercut, d+2 into whatever, though I don’t think it gives any more damage than uppercut, 1+2,2, d+2.

for ease of use I usually end up just doing launcher, 2,1, d+2 bound, dash df+1, giant swing… only 5 pts less dmg than 1+2,2 instead of 2,1, not too hard, good oki after the air throw, yada yada.

Ok , gotcha makes sense then. Cause I was actually trying that ( I had a feeling it would not work) but I was like maybe he did something I didnt see haha.

After launcher then 2,1 … I honestly prefer f+1+2. Ill have to go check the dmg’s on these combos and make sure I type them out next to them.

Armor King> King for reals

As a King player I’m sad about this, though I do not know for myself from what I’ve read A. King is superior. Though the same people say in a match between the two, oddly enough, King would probably come out on top. To Quote Snap from TZ:

I really like his WS+2. Very fast, can be done out of a crouch dash, has an inescapable stun on CH and is usually safe on block.
