Now you might think I’m a little crazy, but really, I am one of the most logical people here. I’ll try to summarize some highlights.
I’m so hyped, it’s my obligation as a fan on the fence to inform others that may be interested.
First, here is the first 40+ minutes gameplay footage of PS4 version of ARK, looks and runs wonderfully!!

  1. PS4 is the greatest market for ARK. 7dtD is a peasant tier survival game, ARK is going to be the first top quality survival game on playstation console history. PS4 dominates the market internationally more than Xbox One, so PS4 community will be greater.
  1. ARK is more of a true immersive hardcore survival game than even survivor horror games. So much more depth.

  1. As for the tinfoil hat “conspiracy” of the Scorched Earth paid DLC expansion releasing during early access, misguided critics twist the facts into blind hate, when Scorched Earth’s timing and pricing is justified considering:
  • ARK Survive Evolved’s launch was delayed.
  • Scorched Earth expansion was completed.
  • the developers are hurting for money
  • they gave away The Center map, Primitive+, Procedural Maps, and Survival of the Fittest spinoff for FREE (and tons more)
  • still hurting from the lawsuit
  • Scorched Earth wealth of content is worth MORE and has more new content than multiple free patches.

Also I recently read they are removing server transfers, so that will fix the abuse of SE users. And Studio Wildcard CONTINUES to add and plan more free content everyone is getting on all platforms. So really, the paid DLC rant is immature and greedy on the CONSUMERS side, not the devs. They are giving a whole lot more for free than what the rat players give credit for.

Also one more thing. ARK Survival Evolved is EARLY ACCESS ALPHA. So expecting more optimization when they are not done adding content, is premature. People playing and complaining about the kinks and technical issues, are playing it too early. There’s still a playable game there, but for those that UNDERSTAND early access and adapt to its nature. Skyrim Special Edition is crashing, and its fans deal with it until there’s a fix.

Xbox One fans still stream and upload Xbox One version of ARK Survival Evolved, there’s a playable game there, it’s not for everyone, but those that expect more should wait for its full finalized launch. Early Access is for those that wanna play it sooner and ok with the kinks. tens of thousands of people wouldn’t play it daily if it was so broken that they can’t enjoy it. They are enjoying it. :slight_smile:

And console is better than some potato PC.

Recently ARK jumped to over 50,000 active players online!! over a year old and still the most popular survival game of all time!! and it keeps growing!! Xbox One numbers must be higher since it has more players on console compared. Played by more people and played longer than several $60 polished games COMBINED!!

successfully certified on PS4! some speculate it might appear at playstation experience

though others theorize if the PS+ december games are announced this week, ARK might be one of them, or PS+ might be giving out Saints Row 4 for free, well those are the rumors.
though I think december 2016 date for ARK SE could be 90% likely with the certification confirmed.

Sony messed up adding versions the developer did not intend to put in NA store.
The actual version is the bundled version, ARK Survivor’s Pack in north america, don’t get the separate versions if you plan on getting it,

PS4 version doesn’t look like this launch trailer graphics, but PS4 is getting the content and updates the other versions are getting.
Also, its recommended to turn off motion blur, and tweak the settings to your comfort.

ARK PS4 population is rising. and this is just the first days. There’s already more active players than Dragon Quest Builders, 7 days to Die and Street Fighter V combined.

Well that is strange. I dunno how SRK community could miss out on this masterpiece, but they got down on their hands and knees towards No Man’s Sky with multiple pages of discussions about it. some janky indie planet exploration game caught interest but not a open world dino survival game with better graphics, gameplay, PVE and PVP and hundreds more quality gaming hours than the phenomenon successful Minecraft? -.-;

Ah well, I shared my justified hype about it, if SRK isn’t interested, oh well, the general consensus of tastes of this forum is really bizarro land.

Ha! You see, all the critics are proven wrong, all that smack talking about ARK always being in early access, when it’s official launch is around the corner!!

it became the best selling PS4 game for two months in the row, and still has a larger following (and greatest server select interface ever)

and consoles getting Ragnarok open world map for FREE around august 8!! ppl would have to be ungrateful to not be hyped for four open world maps to choose from, with great graphics, massive players support, wildlife, and more.

so you see, the haters miss out, ARK Survival Evolved is the ultimate deepest survival game and one of the greatest games ever created!!

(now it just needs DOA5 mods and it would be complete with higher aesthetics. Grrr how come PC gets all the mod support? )
