I’ll be visiting near Tempe soon, are there any arcades with any sort of fighting games there? I’ve been to Golfland and recall a lot of music games (and I think I saw Marvel) but I’m mostly looking for some 3s. I think the Gameworks at Arizona Mills had one a long time ago, and I recall Fiddlesticks (if that place is still around) having an original SF3 machine. Any info would be great, and if some machines do exist I’m up for playing anyone who might be available between Aug. 11-14.

they’re all upstairs in their own little fighter area. the marvel vs capcom 2 machine is always crowded.
Well I suck at Marvel, but its always fun to play someone other than the computer.
i suck at every fighting game. timoe was right when he said you can either build sticks or play fighting games

And unfortunately, I think that’s about it. However, the manager told me recently that he plans on getting Street Fighter IV, Tekken 6, Virtua Fighter 5: R, and as many other new fighting games as he can by this fall. I can imagine that a strong demand for said machines would help reassure him that his purchase would be worthwhile.
