are you guys serious? this game is beat to death and boring.

the tourney players arent even making it fun by doing edition select tourneys.
the game is horribly weak, slow, clunky and so watered down compared to it’s previous installments.

yeah I get it, USFIV buffed a lot of people, but it also nerfed the shit out of the classic powerful edition character such as:

Vanilla Ryu, Vanilla Sagat, Vanilla Akuma, Vanilla Rufus, AE Yun, SSFIV E.Honda, SSFIV Guile, SSFIV Rose, and etc…

I feel like the game would be a lot more entertaining if edition select was allowed in tournaments
but no…

so we are just watching boring USFIV

I agree.

I think no one is challenging it because of the huge money thats on the line in upcoming tournaments. If the money wasnt at stake here maybe we would see more of that edition select shit going on.

Or maybe because it’s just because all the Street Fighter 4 sequels(Super, Arcade, Ultra), there are just SFIV, but with a few adjustments, for example, more characters, or alt. costumes.

Most folks on emulator are now running FightCade instead of GGPO (since it’s the same netcode, has better game support and doesn’t need port forwarding).

When I’m on, I’m either in the 3rd Strike room or Alpha 2 room.
