Are you going to continue with HD Remix when SFIV is released?

Amen Brother, I’m with you… I haven’t put this much time into a game since CvS2 or KoF Neowave.

But it needs fixes, Bad…I think I’m on SF4 steady till I can dabble with Tekken 6 in October.

Between Feb 17th/18th and March 13th I don’t think the Street Fighter IV disc will leave my 360’s DVD Drive.

haha, i will agree that THD needs some online fixins but then again i dont really complain about whats going on online cuz everything that works in other players advantages works in mine too

yeah i spend wayy too much time playing THD though and when i get the stick and sf4 i dont think my xbox will be turned off from feb-june

If SF4’s online is good then it’ll be a long while before I hop back on HDR. I like HDR, but right now I can’t imagine a scenario(other than SF4 having bad online play) where I’d opt to play HDR instead of SF4. If HDR gets a patch then that may change things.

I’ll be playing both

It’s really hard to say. It depends on the community for me. I know damn near everyone will be playing SFIV, but STHD might not get as much love. I love the game and still will play it as much as I can, but SFIV marks the begining of a new era in the series and thus is bringing in a new generation of gamers. So, if it comes down to it I’ll be playing SFIV over STHD.

Scrubs will be flooding SFIV, so hopefully HDR becomes more competitive and if it is i’ll stick around. But if all the good players (the few on XBL) switch over then i’ll have no choice.

No, I’ll most likely be done with Remix. Not because I really have any problem with it, but with limited time to play and all, I want the game that I haven’t played for 10+ years.

I’ll play SFIV a lot, because it’s new, and should be loaded with scrubs to try out all the new stuff on.

But to me (and this is just my opinion), SFIV seems like a shitty game. I like the old school play and SFIV seems like a mix of the worst parts of CVS2 and 3rd Strike. I don’t like the throws, I don’t like the jab-hunting-into-whatever-special(or super)-you-want easy combos, and focus seems like your usual game-dominating tactic that appears in every new game.

Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’ll love it, I dunno. I just know that I will always prefer to play a game of old school SF.

Only if they add more rollback. 10 times a match just isn’t enough for me. Game is absolute garbage online.

ill still be playing it, probly not as much as SF4 but imo this is the best version of SF2 to play.

I second this motion.

Tell them about the irony in that statement.

Anyways, I will definitely be playing both. I am kind of nervous SFIV won’t have good online as well, because I don’t have any SF fanboys as friends (brawl players nuff said). All I know is I prefer the graphics for HD remix (sue me).

I would hope that people still play remix, since SFIV is riding along on pure hype. So far, the game is wonky as fuck, boring to watch, and a turtle fest. We don’t even know what the online is going to be like anyway.

I’ll keep playing Remix for long time, assuming they get around to patching the mess that is the PS3 version.

I’ll be dropping this game for good when IV comes out. i think i’ve gotten as much mileage out of hd-remix as i’m going to at this point. They aimed to lower the execution barrier but really the greatest hurdle for players to overcome is the 1 frame reversals required to win/avoid dying. I like sf2, I can deal with those airtight mechanics, but i’ll have more fun with IV.

Saying that i’ll still enter UK tourneys for it lol

Yeah ST is still an insanely hardcore game even with what they did to make the game more lenient. Which lesser players assume there’s no way out of reversal situations and whine all day. SFIV looks to be the next CVS2 pace wise but at least it’s less complicated to play and tries to stick to more of the basics of SF. I’d rather watch a 2/3 match of SFIV than a 5 round fight of CVS2. Just takes too long especially when a lot of it is just build up for ratio 2’s. C.Viper should keep things interesting for me though.

Nope, I’m going to drop it like a red headed step child.

i think i’d be to into the hype of sf4 to even click hd remix

sure dont see why not

Amen brother. The tiny reversal window (online) ruined HD Remix for me.

Bring on SF IV!
