Are you going to continue with HD Remix when SFIV is released?

Hell yes. I’ll be playing both.

I’ll probably play more HDR offline than SF4. But online? Forget about it.

Square Business, I agree with you 154 Percent… I’d rep you if I could.

It seems the Vega desyncs are getting more and more frequent and Vega is who I play with 80 percent of the time (Cammy/Ryu the other 20)

I’m so used to the newer games I feel like I’m fighting underwater with anyone other then Vega in the SF2 Series.

Nah I’m damned near done with HDR now, I even blew the dust off my Halo 3 and NBA 2K9. (2 games I ain’t touch since HDR dropped)

I’m in the “Depends on if it gets patched” crowd. Game is great and all, but has the potential to be so much more if Backbone put more effort in it. Unless SF4’s netcode is pure shit, I’ll probably play it a whole lot more.

SFIV bores me, if I played anything it would still be remix.

I’ll stick to ST as I’ve always done.
HD Remix is indeed a great game, but I lack competition and it’s unplayable online due to lag. I’ll give it another shot when it’s released on the European PSN store.

As a fighting game fan I have to get SFIV, but I guess it will suffer a horrible faith if the online part isn’t optimal, since I get no IRL competition.

:“Pfff fighting games are for nerds, come play WoW, Halo or CS”

Fighting gamers are lone wolfs.

Yeah. I’m thinking when SFIV comes out, the online scrubs will move onto that for a while and HDR will be more fun.

Though don’t get me wrong, still way hyped for SFIV

HD remix offline, ST online I guess.
SF IV does not have much for it, if I want great gfx and eye candy, I’ll just play SC4.
I doubt the gameplay will be great enough to boost it. Fighting games are a niche.

I probably won’t unless the patch is really good and fixes all the bugs and glitches (and Akuma). I’ll still have GGPO for my ST fix.

Yes, i will. I love the game and soon i’ll have also an arcade stick to play with. Can’t wait to actually play the game without the frustration of missing 50% of my moves.

I’m glad to see a good amount of people saying they will stick with it. Sure there are bugs but every game always has some bugs to be worked out. A lot of love was put into HD Remix and it deserves to last, and a patch is all it needs in my opinion. I’m curious to see if it is used in any big tournaments eventually.

If the game gets patched, yes.

If it doesn’t and remains in it’s current buggy state, no.

SFIV will be top priority when it’s released.
HDRemix will probably be like my Castle Crashers… after getting 200/200, I just stopped playing it.

On second thought, I’ll probably pick it up once in awhile with some friends whenever we have the urge to mix it up

I believe it’s going to depend solely on the online play. The reason I was so hyped up about HD Remix was because of the online play…but that has only proven to be a huge disappointment. I’m hoping and praying that SF4 will deliver in a big way.

does sirlin still have a job with capcom america?

Doubt it, unless SF4 lags shit up that will be my fighter of choice for the rest of the year.

Completely dependent on the online play for SF4. HDR may be buggy, but it’s also almost entirely lag-free. If 4 delivers the same lag-free gameplay I’ll probably switch games. If not, I’ll probably quickly stop playing 4 and go back to HDR.

Exactly…Thunderfoot Tribe hated on again.

Thought about this question for a while… not really anticipating SFIV because I’m not a fan of its mechanics. But regarding HD Remix, it’s the first time I’ve played with so many people who play for the love of the game. So yeah, I’ll definitely keep playing it when SFIV comes out.

I will play both simultaniously. Because i love the old school simple feel of THD, and sf4 will be the most recent sf since third strike i’ve played ( THD has rekindled my love of fighting games since dreamcast ). although i kind of want to devote my time to playing all the street fighers. we need a big package with all of them online play available :stuck_out_tongue:
